My Name is *************************** and unfortunately recently my Landlord by the name of ********************* contacted me in June of this month stating to me that he had not received my Money Orders. which was for ******June. I stated to him that I have all the copy of the Rent receipts that he is referring to and I stated to him that I'm not sure why he haven't received anything considering I been put them in the drop off rent box that is located downstairs in the lower level of the apartment building on the first floor. and I also asked him why would he wait until June of this month to mention to me that he never received any of my money orders he stated to me that he wasn't sure why he didn't receive them as well and he stated to me that it has happened before where a Tenant had their money order misplaced in the building as well but that tenant had only one money order that got misplaced because someone had tampered with the mailbox. I explained to him that it was not my fault I paid my rent on time as a good tenant when rent was due. he asked me can I go to the currency exchange to see if they had been cashed which I then proceeded to do. The currency exchange cashier stated to me that they had not been cashed at all. and that it would cost extra to try to get the may and June money orders reissued but that I could not receive the one from April because that month was so far gone. so ****************** asked me to pay to get money orders reissued I stated to him that I did not have the money at the time to pay for them to get reissued and that it wasn't my fault that the money orders came up lost and misplaced. ********************* then stated to me that it was not his problem or his issue that I would have to deal with the problem on my own and get back with him on a solution.
