We brought our dog Dolly there for training. We chose the Lodge and learn program. You leave your dog there for ten days and they train them. We adopted her at 18 months old and she knew no commands not even sit. We brought home a different dog. She is doing so good I'm actually shocked how ten days could turn a jumping counter surfing etc etc into a dog who knows her commands. Would recommend this place for training.

My babys regular groomer was out when I made the grooming appointment so the owner groomed my dog. She proceeded to strip the undercoat out of a rough coated chowchow unheard of and dangerous you never ever ever ever ever strip the undercoat out of a ***** Her hair will never grow back. Her tail is scrawny. It is absolutely horrifying. This woman is a know it all arrogant piece of work not a good combination stay away.

Multiple animals have been reported injured and neglected from this facility.

On Sunday, July 11, 2021 prior to leaving on a 10-day family vacation we dropped off our female chocolate lab, ****** at the Kountry Kennel Pet Resort located at ************************************** for boarding. While away I called to check on ****** and was told each time that she was doing great and having a wonderful time. On Wednesday morning, July 21 my husband returned to KK to pick her up. After paying our ****, ****** was brought out to him. She took a few shaky steps towards him before collapsing to the floor. There was greenish/yellowish mucus draining from her nose, her right elbow had a large ******, untreated, unbandaged wound, her right arm from that elbow forward was swollen almost twice its normal size and she was making a wheezy, rattling sound with every breath. My husband lifted her up and carried her to the car. I called our Vet who advised us to bring ****** in immediately which we did. ****** was examined and diagnosed with a high fever and a severe upper respiratory infection. The wound on her elbow was infected and necrosis had begun meaning the tissue around the untreated wound had to be cut away because it was dead, (gangrene). The lab report from that wound found the presence of THREE different bacteria. ****** was also suffering with acute onset paralysis of her back legs. She could not walk. For the next several days she was on multiple antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, and pain medications. She had very little appetite and would sip water only occasionally. Eventually we began feeding her baby food with an oral syringe. On Saturday, July 31st at 1:25 AM with my husband and I laying beside her, petting her, and telling her how much we loved her, our ****** died. Our family is devastated. We are responsible, loving, and caring pet parents left with more questions than answers about how and why this happened to our beloved pet.

I have taken both my dogs to this facility for visits longer than a week over the past three to four years. I pay for the ultra service, video and I call in to chat with the staff to check in. The services and rooms available for both dogs and cats are extremely well kept and clean. Take a tour to find out for yourself. My dogs have attitude and if they were mistreated, they would bite the caretaker or be sure to let me know with a behavioral change. Yes, sometimes dogs can get sick if they do not have the necessary shots, and this year, 2021, vets are seeing a swing ** in upper respiratory infections. If you read literature, they also can become ill with the stress of being in a new environment or food changes. Do not hesitate in taking your pups here!

We boarded our dog here for 6 days when we got him back he had an upper respiratory infection and a large wound on his testicles. A worker said 2 other owners reported their dogs being sick when coming home from there and we were never contacted. We exposed our senior dog to him and now he may be sick too. He told us the wound was probably from either a cleaning chemical they use that is dog friendly or the dog did it to himself. He said they would send some powder and a cone with their driver to our house to keep him from licking and it never arrived. When I finally got a call back from the owner she was extremely unapologetic and essentially told me it was our fault because we didnt pay extra to have him taken out more than just the standard walk they offer with the boarding. Which turns out to just be a 5 minute in and out not a walk at all. She said they would not pay for any of the medical bills even though we paid for the extra insurance. She tried to turn it around on us like it is not fair to our dog to keep him their while we are on vacation without paying for the extra playtime. That is a service her business offers and no where does it say its bad for them not to get the add on play time. When I obviously became upset about her not offering any help and called her out on offering a service she herself said was not fair or good for our dog she told me that I could find a new place to bring our dog and if I wanted the powder and cone I could come get it myself and they would not bring me anything. I requested security footage from the kennel to make sure the dog was not abused in any way and she refused to share anything with me saying there was privacy laws for the dogs, give me break. I understand things happen and if she had any remorse and just tried to help I would not be writing this review. It is unfortunate that just because she has been in business for a long time she feels it is okay to treat people and especially their pets in this way.
