I purchased 2 scopes from the company in early November of last year each time I try to check on my order they say you'll be another month and another month and another month now we're going on 7 months for my merchandise that I purchased a November to be sent now I agreed to pay for the price of it at the time but they can't seem to deliver what they offer it's false advertising and the company needs to be put out of freaking business it's like Royal tiger and Florida They don't know how to serve their customers correctly and they need to be put out of businessReview from Drew D

I purchased an item back in November of 2023 and had some issues with the product so I decided to return it. It was brand new and I never used it or anything. Submitted for a return and it was received by Optics Planet within a week of me actually receiving it. They declined my return, told me to pick between getting my item back or not. I asked them repeatedly what the reason was and got no response. Weeks later, no response on this issue so I file a dispute on Paypal and had an ongoing case for 2 months going back and forth. They had apparently sent me back the item but never informed me about it so it got lost in transit. They didnt tell me this until 60+ days later where *** can no longer allow a claim to be filed for the last package. Im now out of $700+ and the item I paid for. ****** was of no help because all they asked the seller to do was provide evidence of it being shipped back to me after I provided my evidence of me returning the item as soon as I got it. I provided all evidence needed and still lost the case. Id advise doing any kind of business with these guys until they get their CS sorted out and stop with their scummy business practices.Review from Phillip B

Ordered a product that it said was in stock. It was on sale and they also had an extra 10% off with a code. Received an email saying it was out of stock and would be in stock a month later. I think they dont want to give it to me for the price I ordered the product at and hope I cancel the order. I received a email suggesting that very thing. From all of the complaints they do this very thing a lot and I think this is very dirty business practice. Can the bbb not fine them for this? They should to stop it.Review from Michael T

Ordered from optics planet many times no issues. Last package I ordered was 25th February and it's been 19 days and still been delayed. I called about a refund and talked to ********************* and he said he couldn't give me one. If the package doesn't arrive I'm just out of my money. Don't do business with these people. I placed a order on February 13th saying the product was in stock and I could expect it to be shipped in about a week.. It is now March 8th and they keep changing the shipping date. Everyday is a new date.. After reading multiple other complaints,YouTube videos,blogs,etc.I see that this is Nothing new for them. Take your money with false advertising and just straight up lies. If the product wasn't in stock you shouldn't say it was.. maybe I'll receive my product or refund! I will definitely will never do business with this company again.Review from Jan P

Non existence customer service. Ordered thermal scope from optic planet had an issue with battery life. Have attempted to contact them on this issue multiple time. No reply from them. Buyer beware!Review from Franz S

I ordered and paid for a product from Optics Planet on 12/18/2024. Allegedly it was turned over to **** for shipping, but according to the tracking information on their website the package HAS NOT BEEN ACCEPTED, and supposedly has been sitting there ever since. When I inquired Optics Plane stated that "this particular **** location has problems scanning packages". After some days, I asked for a refund and cancelation, and they refused. They said I should file a report after 15 business days and state that the package is lost!! Since they used a template for the email text they sent back to me, I have to assume that is something they seem to do every day, and that indicates a pattern of misleading customers on a bigger scale trying to avoid returning the money for products which are not being delivered. I hope the whole thing is no scam. I have a feeling that something strange is going on and coincides with what other Optics Planet customers are reporting. Shipment problems are the sole responsibility of the seller. I demand a prompt refund, because my order is not being delivered.Review from Jeffrey G

On 11/29/2023 I purchased an order of Hornady rifle brass from Opticsplanet through Gunbroker. They immediately charged my ***** Almost two months later they have not delivered. I have called them several times and they say they have no record of the sale even though I have sent them a copy of the transaction from my Gunbroker account. I placed an order for a Holosun green dot rifle optic. It has been 90 days and two dozen messages with expected shipping dates that have come and gone. The problem everyone needs to know about Opticsplanet is that they have holiday specials like Thanks giving and they don't actually have the product in hand. I would like to sell things I don't have, but would be arrested if I did. I am fortunate enough to have enough money in the bank that Opticsplanet can willynilly send and charge me for the product whenever they get around to it. I have spent over 10k in products from them in the last few years. No more. Stop shopping with these clowns and let them go the way of Circuit City. If you have never heard of Circuit City that's the point they are out of business.Review from Lisa G

My husband has ordered from this company a few times, but we will NOT be buying from them ever again and would NOT recommend for others to either. The first time the item was missing screws, but they did make it right and mailed them to him. The most recent time, they sent him the wrong item. He returned it back and asked for a refund. He had to call several times to get them to initiate the refund AFTER submitting the request online several weeks beforehand. They ended up ONLY refunded for the item and refused to refund the $15+ they charged in shipping. I would understand if it was a return was under different circumstances, but they mislabeled the item on their site and sent him the wrong item! The shipping should have been reimbursed as well. We will NOT be purchasing from this company again and would recommend for other to avoid the headache from this company.
