The movers in the process of moving my belongings broke my 65 inch Insignia model ********* television. The screen was cracked when they pulled it out of the moving truck. The television was purchased 08/14/2013, the date it was broken by the movers was 05/28/2014. I have filed a complaint form with the company but have not heard anything since. I've tried to call and email and they avoid communicating with me.

I want the business to pay for my television, the television was not even a year old.

The Professionals Moving Specialists takes damage claims very seriously. The matter was referred to The Professionals' attorney, ***** ******* and she was contacted by the attorney for ******* ******. Mr. ****** and Ms. ****** are speaking about the contract, which specifies the limits of liability. All damage claim, per the contract, are subject to a 30 cent per pound to a maximum of $2 per pound liability, per ICC guidelines. Counsel for Mr. ****** was provided a copy of the contract.

I have not received any compensation for the television being broken, I would tell anybody considering using "The Professionals" moving company to reconsider, they will break your property and will not reimburse you. I have been waiting 3 months to get reimbursed. I filed the claim the next day after the move, when I realized the TV was broken. I think its only fair that the business reimburse me or repair the TV. ********************* reassured me I would be reimbursed or the television would be repaired, it was a flat out lie. Here are the emails I received from her;

05/28/2014-Hi *******, It was a pleasure speaking with you today.I am very sorry to hear about the damage to your tv. Per our phone conversation, I have attached a damage claim form to this email. Please complete it at your earliest convenience, attach photos of the damaged item(s), as well as information about the item(s), such as ( proof of purchase, item number, model number, item description, online link, etc). These documents are required by the insurance company in order to process your claim. We will make every attempt to settle your claim promptly and efficiently.

May 31 2014-Hi *******, Thank you for your email. I did receive your claim form. I will forward it to our insurance company on Monday. Please let me know if you have questions in the meantime. Happy to help!Have a great weekend!

Jun 11 2014-Hi *******, I wanted to let you know that I spoke with your wife ******* earlier today and informed her that I would follow up you regarding the repair. I sent an email to the tv repair company and called them to follow up today. They will be reaching out to you as soon as they are able to diagnose the unit. Please allow them a few days, as they are very busy. I will follow up with them again on Friday. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you.

I was never contacted by any TV repair company and ****** stop answering my calls and emails. I had to hire an attorney just to get a response from "The Professionals." As of today 8/25/2014 I still have a broken television sitting in my house and have not been reimbursed or compensated for any of the damages even though the contract states I should be. I even paid an extra $50 TV packing fee and they still broke it. Do not hire this company to move your property, they will break it and won't reimburse you.
