Gadget Salvation quoted me $143 for a ** ******** touchscreen computer. They paid for me to ship it to them. This computer had been used less than 20 hours. I had the original box, all disks, adapters, and docs, and I sent all to Gadget Salvation. They received the package, and emailed me to say they changed their quote to $70 (less than 1/2 their quote) because it had a "noisy cooling fan" and "slow running system, touchscreen digitizer responds with a delay". Both of these are bogus, and used simply to justify a lesser price. I never heard the fan come on in the time I owned it; and as for speed, it's virtually new. Gadget Salvation knew the model, and thus, the specs and speed, when they quoted the original price.
I've requested that they returm my laptop, in the original box and with all docs, disks and adaptors. I've read that others that had similar complaints were charged $25 for Gadget Salvation to return the items. This is not stated on their website & and they paid to get the devise. I certainly hope they dont pull that with me!
There is no telephone number on the website for the company. That should have been my first clue.
