Complaint: Initially the customer service representative (*******) said $118/ hr. The service tech showed up at 9 AM. Spent 20 minutes taking care of other business on phone. Worked on the unit for 45 minutes and left. When I called to settle the bill, I was told it would be $291.00. Breakdown was 2 hours of service for $236.00 plus travel charge of $55 equalling $291. I insisted that travel charge was not part of the initial contract and the manager ( who did not identify himself) said this was because it was the first job of the day. Very threatening and intimidating behavior of the manager. The technician was trying to sell me on getting some sort of a sensor checked for which he needed another 1 hour. I asked if it was needed and he said no it was not, however it seems he decided to add that extra hour to the bill.

Desired Settlement: Hayes Mechanical should apologize for the managers behavior and the technicians wrong billing. I would like to be charged for the 1 hour the technician truly spent cleaning the unit. $55 travel charge was not part of the initial contract and is not mentioned anywhere on their contract. This will help other potential consumers safeguard themselves against wrong billing and Hayes Mechanical to improve on their practices.
