Do yourself a favor and if you see or hear of ************************* or S&C Cement in ****** **, run the other way. Summer of 2022 was the worst and most stressful summer we experienced. We hired this dude base on a friend referral (should've done our own homework and trusted my instinct) to cement patio and side walk around property.We payed him 50% when they started which he still owes us refund for unused funds that court will decide on the amount. Total days they worked on the property was 4 days and that was for demolition only. Worked very messy and the crew would leave their garbage (bottles, cans) everywhere. While breaking the concrete patio, they damaged the building wall and big chunk of wall bricks broke. They would not cover the damage and asked us to pay additional $1200 to rebuild the wall.They also build the retainer wall that after completion looked as if the wall was pregnant. To manage our complaint, they resorted on sanding the concrete wall down (stupid idea) as they reached the pebbles in the concrete mix. Ultimately, they had to break and take the wall down again. In the course of 3 weeks, the crew only worked 4 days. Project started on 7/18 and last day they showed up was 8/2. We had broken concrete and dirt all around property for months and then the guy disappears and would not answer calls or text. If I could rate this business below 0 I would. Base on discussion I had within community who know *************************, everyone said he has left many client high and dry and quit in the middle of projects.
