Went in for an oil change, tire rotation and tire air pressure check on 2020 ***** Fit. Immediately after leaving , I heard a scraping noise, so went back. They said it was common to have a shield scrape after rotation, so he took a long screwdriver like tool and stuck it in the front tires and said i was good to go. I left, and same noise. same fix and said i was good to go. I wasnt. Still the noise. Went back again, explained and the mgr said hed look at it. He said he drove it around the block and no noise. Again I drove off and had the same issue, not as loud. Went back but they were really busy and so I left. I called; the mgr offered to drive in the car so he could hear what im hearing. I asked if it was safe to drive til I could come back in and he said yes. So, I call this morning to ask if the mgr is in and can i make an appt and explained the sitch. He said he was in and should come over now, so I did. He had one of his service ppl drive with me and he said the noise wasnt from the tire rotation, sounded like suspension, bushings, not something theyd be responsible for. We got back and the mgr said it could be a coincidence. I told him no, the car was fine before coming in, and asked them to put the car on the lift to check. They then said it wasnt the suspension, it was some motor box thing in the center of the car, nothing they touched and werent responsible for the noise. I said its been the same noise all along and you were ********** was the shield scraping and now its completely different? He literally said it could be psychosomatic on my end. I was floored! I said his comment was completely inappropriate and he told me I didnt know what the word meant that I needed to look up the definition! I drove off and guess what? The scraping noise was now miraculously gone! And its place a tinny tink, tink, tink from the front center of the car.
