Products & Services

Lease Finance Group, LLC is a Chicago-based lease finance company specializing in the origination and servicing of micro-ticket leases, primarily for small and medium sized businesses. The company's equipment leases are primarily for point-of sale (POS) terminals, which retail and service merchants use to communicated VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover and other credit/debit card purchases to a credit card processing bank.

The company's customers are retail businesses such as restaurants, stores, and other business establishments- the company does not market or sell any of its products or services to individual consumers. Per Lease Finance, the equipment covered under the company's lease agreements has no consumer use.

The financing arrangement between LFG and its lessees is in the form of a Commercial Non-Cancelable Equipment lease agreement ("lease agreement").

In the course of financing the equipment specifically selected for use by the lessee, LFG relies on a non-agent, third-party vendor (also referred to as vendor or independent sales organization ("ISO")) to procure, install, and service the equipment for the lessee. LFG leases this equipment on an "as is" basis, and the ISO itself is responsible for servicing the equipment and should handle all requests regarding equipment service issues.

Additional Notes

Complaint: I signed a 48 month lease with LFG in March 1999, I paid monthly payments until july 2009, well after my lease had expired, at that time the equiptment went bad and was returned to Electronic Merchant Systems the company which I had originally rec'd it from. Since approx 2010 I have been receiving demands for money that I do not believe I owe, the lease number on the demand letters from LFG do not match my paperwork and I have tried several times to get any proof from them but apparently they don't seem to think they have to provide such a thing.

Desired Settlement: I feel that I lived up to the terms of the lease and would like LFG to stop the demand letters and phone calls and remove any negative remarks on my credit report.

Complaint: To Whom It May Concern:In September of 2013, I received a letter from ********* Merchant Services informing me that I would need to replace my credit card terminal as it was "obsolete". It was signed by my "rep" ****** ******* When \ called for more information regarding this, I was referred to a Mr. ***** ************ as Mr. ****** was "unavailable". I expressed an interest in having a smartphone reader instead of the regular terminal. Mr. *********** kind of danced around that, saying that I could, but I really needed a land line terminal as a "backup". I was sent an obviously reconditioned terminal and a smartphone reader. The terminal did not work, and neither did the smartphone reader. I was told that it was incompatible with my model of smartphone. My phone is a ****** ****** which has been available for quite some time. So I was told to send them back and I would be provided with another landline terminal. The second one came with the same result. In the meantime I am having to key in all credit card transactions on the app loaded on my phone, with the resulting higher processing fees. By the third time, Mr. *********** assured me the terminal would work for sure. It did not, and I sent the third terminal back. Nobody ever called me after that. I tried on at least 4 occasions to call Mr. *********** to resolve this situation. I reached his voicemail each time and my messages were never answered. My intent was to try to get a wireless machine to see if that would work, but it never got that far.On the 5th attempt I made to get in touch with Mr. ************* reached a different person at his extension number. I was told that Mr. *********** did not work for ********* any longer. I tried to explain my situation to this person, and I was put on hold for a very long time. When she came back on the line she told me in a very terse manner that someone would have to get back with me. Each time I called after that I was told the same thing..."someone will have to get back with you,ma'am".By October,I still had no communication and no terminal. Of course, the $115 monthly lease payment was still being drawn from my checking account. It was still being drawn 7 months later with no equipment, when I consulted my attorney. He advised me that I was being defrauded and that I should close that account. My bank advised me to do the same.In my understanding of the definition of a lease, one person pays another for the use of property or equipment for a certain amount of time. I do not have possession of any equipment,so I feel that I am being defrauded by ********* and LFG. This lease was breached by *********,not me.When "June" from Lease Finance Group (hereafter called LFG) called me to collect, she rudely informed me that the lease was between LFG and me. She refused to listen to my side of the story, and told me directly that any disagreement I had with ********* was my problem, not LFG's. I told her that it is beyond my control that I cannot get ********* to communicate with me, and that I am not paying for equipment I don't have. I further tried to tell her that my attorney had possession of the ***** paperwork, lease, and other documentation, and tried to give her his phone number. She was very rude and then told me he would have to fax them a letter. I asked for a physical address, which she would not give me. My attorney stated to me later that he tried to call LFG regarding this matter and that they hung up on him.I have been a customer of ********* for at least 15 years. I have never had a problem with them before. My payments were always made, and I was always cooperative with the frequent "equipment upgrades".However,I refuse to be defrauded and victimized by one or both of these companies.

Complaint: I leased their equipment from 1997 until Fall 2011. On 10/31/11, I returned the equipment via *** to the instructed address. in 2012, I was asked to provide verification that I had sent equipment. I contacted *** and the verification, including a copy showing who had signed for it, was sent. I was told by LFG that everything was fine and I owed them nothing. On July 17th, 2014, I received a letter stating that they had not received the equipment and that I owed over $1,000 and that if I did not pay immediately they would take me to court. *** does not keep records for more than 2 years so the only documentation that they can provide now is an email showing that it was shipped but they no longer have the copy of the signature on file. LFG says that this is not sufficient.

Desired Settlement: I want LFG to acknowledge that equipment was returned and that I owe them nothing and am in no way contractually obligated to them.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2014/08/12) */ see attached Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 10, 2014/08/15) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I do not feel that I owe this company any money! I mailed the equipment back on October 31st 2011. I have a tracking number from *** and I simply cannot believe that *** doesn't keep records of signature more than 18 months. If you look at all of the complaints against this company, I feel that this is a scam. It is now the mere principal of the matter. Why on earth would I pay almost $500 of my money when I am not guilty? Final Business Response /* (4000, 15, 2014/09/08) */ Please find our response attached originally sent 9/3/2014. Thank You.

Complaint: The company has collected well over $6000 for a cc machine lease agreement by withdrawing from a business savings account and will not release us from the lease agreement that expired in 2010 unless we pay a additional $470 or return the machine (original was sent back to company, replacement sent - they will not accept the replacement - has to be the orginal machine) After several attempts contacting this company and trying to "reason" with them that $6000 already paid to them for a "outdated" credit card machine (not used in 4 years) should be enough of a payment. No Luck. All of them responded the same way with programmed answers - we cant help you. In other words...you will pay for the rest of your life for this cc machine...it riduculous. I warn every business out there do not do business with these company. I see that there are other business who continue to be charged for some cc machine from over 10 years ago. I hope karma gets this company big time!

Desired Settlement: I want them to dismiss the lease for a cc machine that we do not have any more because they leased a faulty machine to us and it was sent back and nobody at the leasing company took record of the exchange in serial numbers on the cc machines. So the one we have that we can ship back isnt on their paperwork. So after spending over $6000 for this cc machine they want a additional $470 to buy the machine else they will continue to withdrawl $98 a month for ever. I want them to dismiss this buyback and stop charging us. I hope the attorney general comes down hard on this company!!

Additional Notes

Complaint: I believe that our company signed a contract with this company some time in 2008 for a credit card processing machine. In reviewing our bank records, this company has debited our bank account $108.53, without invoicing us, every month for several years. When I reached out to them to ask how our contract could still be active after eight years, I was merely transferred to their asset management department, who told me to return the equipment, which we have already sent back to them. He immediately and very forcefully told me that we had not sent the machine back, without possibly having taken any time to review our records, and he told me that there would be a penalty for "losing" the machine, and he would not speak with me about the recurring charges continuing outside of the contract period or provide me with a copy of the contract. I told the representative that they no longer had permission to debit our account, and he told me that they would not stop. He transferred me to customer service and the call was dropped by their company. All attempts to call them back since have resulted in us being left on hold indefinitely, and the charges continue to be debited from our account each month.

Desired Settlement: We are seeking the refund of all unauthorized debited charges to our bank account.

Complaint: A salesman had come into our salon, completely lied to us. We would have never agreed to sign up for a lease to a terminal when we already had a terminal. He left NO paper work with us and have him communicating with me on ******** telling me that the company tells them NOT to leave the paperwork with us. It's a complete scam. Payment systems is working along with this company and are too lying about the rates that are supposed to be charged. They are at just as much fault as lease corp

Desired Settlement: We paid over 100 for numerous months plus the costs of payment systems overcharging us. We just wish to see a refund.

Complaint: Entered into a merchant services contract for Credit Card processing for three years, contract was up on 17 April 2014. Part of that contract provided for a leasing of Credit Card processing equipment form LFG. LFG has now informed me that there lease was for 4years not 3years. Requested copy of contract first week of april from LFG never received. I believe they misrepresented the term of the contract, the sales representative that sold us the origina ******** Services also acted as their agent. Our understanding was that both contracts would run for the same time. We were never informed that they were seperate contracts. They intentionaly misrepresented their product lease time and engaged in deceptive sales practices, there would be no reason to have the contract not run for the same period of time.

Desired Settlement: Request that LFG drop their request for payment and close the matter.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/05/13) */ see attached Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2014/05/14) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I believe that LFG did not act in good faith, the two agreement were to be the same lenght 3 years. As verbably stated by the salesman. There would of been no reason to lease a piece of equeipment for a year longer than the agreement with the credit card processer. I am returning the leased equipment to LFG. It is my belief they they engaged in deceptive sales practices, they have also raised the rates on the equipment which I did not agree to. I believe they have already breached the contract at any rate. I would still like to see them drop their claim. Final Business Response /* (4000, 22, 2014/06/17) */ see attached Note to consumer: Please complete and return the Affidavit of Forgery provided to you from the business. Thank you Final Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2014/05/15) */ We have reviewed the contract and it is not my wifes signature on the lease portion. That area was blank when she initialed the other portions of the contract. It was filled in after. Also the total cost of the contract was never disclosed in violation of the law concerning lease agreements. 5-15-14 additional info from consumer: This company is being sued by the state of New York, If they do not drop there false claims against me, I will contact the New York state attorney general and file a formal complaint. They have engaged in fraud.

His name *** ******** he introduced himself is he works for ******* ****** Corp. He told me that, his company has a special promotion, he offered me 1% on credit card transaction if I pay $126 equipment leasing for 48 months. After 48 month the machine will be mine. He told me that I can cancel anytime but I have to pay $299 fee. Because my English language not very fluent I asked him a permit to record what he said before I can sign the contract, he agreeded with me. I recorded his voice in my phone and I am still has it. He also told me if I pay $5 more I will get zero (0) % on debit card transaction. He did initial his name on the contract for that part. He promised me that I will save a lot of money if I use his company. No hidden charge. I still have his voice recorded in my phone also. He told me if I have any question just call him. He gave me a lot of paper to sign. I asked him a copy of the contract he said he will make a copy and bring it back to me later because his boss needed to be signed it. However he never did, three days later I received a credit card machine. With an instruction to activated. The machine works too slow or sometimes freeze up in this case you have to reset it in order to make it work again, it is very frustrated when my customers waiting. I call *** to ask him about the copy of contract and the credit machine problem but he did not answer my phone. Around a month later, Payment system send me a bill plus LFG leasing Finance withdrew $143.74 instead of $126 like they said in the contract. And in the first month I have to pay a lot more fee than before. I tried to call *** more than 20 times but he never answers my phone. LFG therefore has all the rights afforded ********* as original Lessor but none of its obligations under the lease pursuant to Section 8 titled Assignment of the lease agreement. On August 15, 2013, Lessee entered into a 48-month non-cancelable lease agreement. According to the lease agreement, Lessee has agreed to a repayment schedule which includes a base monthly payment of $126.00 plus sales tax and insurance non-compliance fee. The Schedule of Lease Payments section of the agreement outlines total payments due from Lessee to LFG. By signing under the Lessee Acceptance portion of the agreement, Lessee acknowledges reading the terms and conditions of the contract and that they agree to be bound by them. The Lessee confirmed receipt of equipment and its proper installation by executing the Delivery and Acceptance Receipt on August 20, 2013. The Lessee also confirmed with our office on August 27, 2013 that equipment was delivered, properly installed and in good working condition. Complaint: On May 30, 2014 Lease Finance Group LLC withdrew 43.95 from my account for lease XXXXXXXA without my permission for withdrawal or ACH set up. Prior to this happening I cancelled the lease with the company, since the lease was fulfilled, and made final payment with a check, numbered 1140, and returned the equipment to them to their ** address. Written on the check front and back was written "final payment for lease number XXXXXXXA". They cashed the check knowing very well it was to be the final payment. Now, they have taken that information and illegally made a withdrawal, and quite possibly illegally set up an ACH, from my checking account, and I am afraid they will continue to do so even though the equipment is in their possession, I am no longer in business and I cancelled the lease.

Desired Settlement: I am requesting that Lease Finance Group LLC return the unauthorized and illegally obtained funds, $43.95, from my checking account in the form of a check sent to me. Lease Finance Group LLC recognize the payment from my check 1140 as the final payment for lease XXXXXXXA as implied by their cashing of the check with the noted final payment notice. No further attempts to withdraw money from my checking account or attempts for collection of payment will be made. Lease XXXXXXXA is cancelled and no longer in effect or valid. The lease is settled in full with check number 1140. I want a declaration in writing from Lease Fiance Group LLC that lease XXXXXXXA is cancelled and no longer in effect and no further attempts for payment will be made.

Complaint: Never wanted to use this company again due to past experiences but ended up that the company that provided my ATM used this company. My ATM is not crediting me with my percentage but is crediting them. I also have an old credit card processor from them that I cannot get instructions to terminate because it is practically impossible to speak to a human being at this company. I'm being charged monthly for the processor I'm using and the one I am not using. After waiting 20 mins on hold I left a number for them to get back to me. They phoned 2 days later at 8pm when I was out only to result in having to repeat this process. I want to know how to terminate my old contract and receive my cut of my ATM. I believe the inability to contact them is by design.

Desired Settlement: At the very least I want my old contract terminated and directions on how to return the old machine. I also want my percentage of my current ATM machine usage. I believe a refund of the many monthly payments I've had to make on a machine I haven't used in ages is also appropriate.

Complaint: Services were terminated with this company around 2008. The equipment was sent back and all appeared to be resolved. Received a letter dated 1-9-2014 that LFG would file suit if the payment amount of 1498.45 was not submitted and reported to the credit bureaus. No other form of contact has ever been tried to reach us to resolve this problem. Skeptical, we searched the company online and noticed several complaints. This company is also flagged as an alert in the BBB system. Our business was sold in 2011 and have never been contacted once about this.

Complaint: In 2001 a contract was signed for 48 months to lease credit card machines (total of 4 machines). Sales rep. ******* ***** Contract expired in 2005. We have tried to cancel multiple times via phone, fax, email to no avail. Automatic withdrawals from our bank were made every month ($59 each machine) until we finally were forced to close our bank account a couple months ago. Now they are calling, harassing the accountant and threatening to report to collections. They want $500 per machine (worth $14) - remember we received these machines in 2001 - they are outdated and useless. We have not been using their services for a decade.

Desired Settlement: We are seeking a refund of monies taken since expiration of contract - from January 1st 2006 until May 2014 = $23,836. Four machines, $59/month/machines for 101 months.

Dear Ms. ******* We are not satisfied with this response to our complaint. In 2005 the four credit card machines were returned by ****** ******** (3 from *********** ******* 1 from ****** To ******* He will TESTIFY to this under oath. Dozens of attempts over the last 14 years have been made to contact this company to close the account. It is near impossible to locate this company as they never send a statement with contact information, they never call or write a letter to discuss the "service" you are paying for, and they never have a "live" person to talk to once a phone number was found. Numerous attempts have been made to request copies of the contracts and to stop payment, in fact I spoke to someone last week and she assured me she would fax a copy of the contract to me. I'm still waiting. We have complied with the contract to the letter - and are still being charged and have been charged for 150 months, 102 months past the original 48 month agreement. This amounts to over $25,000 in over charges. We want our money refunded and account closed - neither of which has happened. This company is dishonest and completely difficult to work with. According to the customer service rep I spoke to, this contract will go on forever and ever unless we pay $500 per machine to buy out the contract (machines we already returned). Complaint: In 2007,the former manager of the ******* ******* *** signed lease# XXXXXXXA for a term of 48months.When I found out about this leased equipment(credit card machines), I sent a 30day intent to cancel notice, then returned the equipment. LFG still continued to deduct from our bank account. There is also another lease in question, lease# XXXXXXX.The former manager signed the lease & falsely named herself as the owner of the company. I told LFG about this and stated my intent to send another notice of cancellation. LFG at this time said they could not discuss the lease with me, as I was not involved with the original document. I informed them the owner of the company had no knowledge of the lease agreement. I faxed them an intent to cancel and returned the equipment. LFG continued to deduct money from our bank account. I blocked them from our bank account and now they are harassing us daily with phone calls, even calling my personal cell phone. They are very aggressive and seem personally offended that we will not continue to let them deduct monies from our bank account indefinitely. The fine print on the copies of the leases that I have is so small, it cannot even be read. The entire process is a scam perpetrated by them and disreputable credit card processors like Transtech. The processor will say they are providing you with a "free" machine, when in fact it is leased through LFG. Any legitimate credit card processor will provide a credit card machine to use for free, provided the machine is returned at the end of the contract. Even if one did purchase a machine outright, they do not cost anywhere close to the amount of money that LFG intends to collect on them by deducting monthly from bank accounts. To sum up, they were deducting 2 separate payments from our bank account. The 48month lease had been being deducted for 7 years. I am unsure how long the other lease payment has been being deducted, but I believe it has been being taken since at least 2011. I have tried everything to cancel these leases and I have returned all equipment belonging to them. They now say we owe them over $1,000 for a machine that has already been returned. Their collection department is extremely aggressive and rude. As I said before, the owner of our company had no knowledge whatsoever of these "lease agreements" and he never authorized them to deduct from the company's bank account to start with. These people are only interested in draining bank accounts on a monthly basis. I've seen some of their company's responses to complaints. They seem to imply that this is somehow the consumer's own fault for signing the lease. Any legitimate company would never do business like this. I am exasperated and frustrated with this company to the point I can no longer deal with them and I would like some help resolving these issues. One, I think we should be reimbursed for all the years they continued deducting payments from our account after the equipment was paid off, however, I'm so sick of dealing with them I'm willing to let that go if they'll just leave me alone. Two, they need to stop harassing me about payments for equipment that has been returned. Everyone needs to know about this company and their deplorable business practices. They prey on small businesses like ours and have gotten rich doing so. They probably have an entire department devoted to writing the management responses to complaints because they already know complaints are inevitable. Small businesses like us don't have a whole team of legal experts on hand to write our complaints and responses, we can only do the best we can to stand up for ourselves and warn others about this horribly disreputable company.

Desired Settlement: I want them to stop trying to deduct money from our bank account. I want them to stop the harassing phone calls to both my work and cell phone. I want released from whatever lease they claim it is we owe money for.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2014/03/18) */ Attached please find our response. Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 9, 2014/03/27) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I DO NOT ACCEPT THE RESPONSE BECAUSE THE TERMS OF THE ORIGINAL LEASE ARE ONEROUS AND I DID NOT SIGN THE LEASE. THE EQUIPMENT HAS BEEN RETURNED AND WE OWE THEM NOTHING. Final Business Response /* (4000, 37, 2014/06/18) */ see attached Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 15, 2014/04/21) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I do not accept their "proposed resolution" because they are not proposing a resolution. They are not offering any type of compromise or agreement. I maintain that the lease is void because the signer did so without the company owners' knowledge or permission, and in fact lied when she listed herself as the owner of the company. We are not liable for any part of the agreement and refuse to pay.

Complaint: My name is *** ******. I am the owner of a **** ****** Inc. On 2011 a sales rep. of ******* ******* Corp. came to my business. She asked for my current statement and said she could save me over $150.00 a month. He said that I would only pay a $99.00 program fee monthly and 1% for credit and 0% on debit. There are no hidden costs and He even called the manager for promotion code so I could get this special deal. He wrote this offer in a paper of a rate comparison. He said that I would need to use their swiping terminal and the pin pad in order to have these special rates and the reason I would need to sign the contract with ******* ******* Corp. was that the special rates would never change. He said that if I don't like it or I cannot save money, I can cancel the contract anytime. He did it professionally. He even called her boss to let him explain to me that I can cancel anytime if I don't like their service. On 04/2013 I sold my business. I called ******* ****** Corp to transfer everything to new owner. They sent us a package to fill-out and we it sent back to them. We do exactly what they want. I called back three time to make sure everything are Ok. And they said that everything are Ok. After, a month I got a phone call from LFG, LLC. They said I own there money because I signed a lease with them. They told me that I was leasing the terminal for $99.00 each month for 4 years and the lease is non - cancellation. I have no idea about this contract. I called the ******* ****** and they said the Lease is become to Lease Financial Group. Last month I got a bill say that I own them $5,071.03. I do not know what going on. I went online to search for Lease Financial Group company and I saw a lot of complaint, Scam and Ripoff for this company. Now I know this is a lie company. Today I fill a complaint to Better Business Bureau hope that I can solve off this matter. Thank you!!*** ********** ******, Inc Lease Number: XXXXXX Product_Or_Service: Credit Card machine Account_Number: Lease number : XXXXX

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2014/04/21) */ see attached Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 9, 2014/04/29) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I am not accept the response from the LFG,LLC. Because, in there response they say they do not have representative for there company. This is problem. Because representative from outside vendors they do not care about what is in the contract. They just want the business owner sign-in and they will be gone after that. All the complaints has same situation. The representative have never mention a bout the lease or Non- cancellable, they just say we have to pay 1%, $0.09 per transaction and $99 per month. That is the reason why we got thousand of complaint out there. It sound like same problem. And when I sign the contract, I sign with Payment System Inc. Not Lease Financial Group. I do not know about LFG, LLC. This is cheating company. all of them(Representative, credit card processing and Lease company)they are cheater. We are trust to wrong people. I do not understand why this company still existing in United State and government still let them to sucked blood on people of America. BBB, please does your best. Thank you. Final Business Response /* (4000, 17, 2014/06/03) */ see attached Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 13, 2014/05/16) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) LFG just agreed in this letter that they did not sign me up; an outside vendor did; this vendor was making this agreement for LFG, and wrote and signed the contract for LFG. Therefore any agreements he made and added to the contract as an adendum and signed off on; is officially part of the contract or I woyuld have never signed it. I have spoken to many lawyers already including lawyers in New york were they say we have to file a case, and this is a definate Con to get people to sign.. This is also illegal to have an outside agent go make a deal for you, but then dont stand behind that agent they hired.. this is a completely dis honorable company that will do anything to Con people out of money, and I will bring it out to the entire united states if I need to. We also have phone recordings and emaols with LFG partners Payment Systems in this case; saying that they were taking care with LFG in full and closing entire account out since it was done as one contract and in one company.

Complaint: I am filing a complaint against: Lease Finance Group, LLC ******* East ****** Place, Suite *********** IL XXXXXXXX-XXX-XXXX f:XXX-XXX-XXXX In June ***** ******** ******* updated their credit card equipment with ****** Payment Systems in ******** *****. At that time I was told by ***** ******* ******* merchant solutions rep, XXX-XXX-XXXX ****** that once I received the new equipment that he would send me a call tag to return old equipment. I waited several weeks and made several attempts to ***** and he never followed through and sent the call tag. He finally gave me the address of where to send my equipment in order to stop the auto-draft for the old equipment. I mailed the equipment through the US Postal Service to: Equipment Processing ********* W. **** Street ***** ******** ***** *** **** XXXXX On August 13, 2013, I mailed the equipment to the address above with a tracking number. LFG continued to draft our business account so I notified my bank and stopped the auto-draft as of October 15, 2013. Once they could no longer draft my account they started calling regarding the unpaid amounts. When I originally spoke with LFG they informed me that they HAD RECEIVED my equipment ****** 2080/2085 and a check card reader) and that they were calling regarding credit card equipment from 2000 or 2002. LFG continues to call and harass me about the Nurit and check reader saying that they never received. Nothing has been mentioned since then regarding the older equipment. Explanations have been given to the numerous callers regarding the issue stated above. I due not feel I owe LFG anymore. I fulfilled the request to return the equipment and was told it had been received. Somewhere the equipment was misplaced after LFG received it. LFG is now trying to tell me that the equipment was never received and that I owe the cancellation fee of the lease plus equipment. Since the equipment was returned and received I no longer felt the need to keep the tracking info. Over the past few months I continue to receive phone calls and faxes from LFG. LFG made threats to ruin my credit and attempted to have Faithful Friends sign a new lease agreement with LFG which would cover the cost of the old equipment, monthly service fees and a new lease. I am happy with the current leasing agency we are using now. I do not feel in anyway I should still be contacted by LFG regarding this issue.

May 8, 2014 CASE NUMBER XXXXXXXX COMPLAINANT ******* ******* **** ****** Road PO Box XXXXX **** ****** ***** XXXXX XXX-XXX-XXXX **************@aol.com RE: LFG As Stated in previous correspondences, we are not at fault with the loss of equipment that was sent to LFG and feel that the equipment was misplaced at LFG. At this time, we do not accept any proposed resolution from this company. Plus, we would like to keep this case opened until LFG can find the equipment that was returned. In Response to LFG on letter dated April 28, 2014: We are denying any allegation regarding "that the sales representative took the equipment when she upgraded it." We in fact had to contact Mr. ******* several times to get the address in which to mail back the equipment. My assistant packed the equipment and I took to the post office with the address provided and mailed it. I disposed of the proof of delivery after we were told the equipment was indeed delivered to LFG. We feel, that somewhere at LFG the equipment we returned was misplaced by LFG and they can't figure out where it is. LFG is wanting to put us into legal collection for not receiving "6 payments" they consider past due, for which our response is we are not past due and no longer have this equipment, don't want their outdated equipment and are very happy with the service we currently are working with. The equipment was returned, and payments between LFG and us, were stopped at that time. In response to the allegation regarding the conference call to LFG, we did have Mr. ******* on the line to talk to LFG however, after a lengthy time being placed on hold with LFG, Mr. ******* had to get off the conference call due to the fact he had other business in which to tend to. We tried several times to establish the conference call again with the same results being placed on what seems to be eternal hold. ******* *******

Complaint: I signed a lease agreement with the agreement I had 5 days to back ont. I kept the machine never using it even one time. When I tried to send it back and cancel my lease agreement I was told I signed a non-cancellableagreement and to pay it off. I was offered to pay $450.00 and return the machine at that day only. I didn't have the money so I couldn't do that. The sales person told me I had 5 days. She even signed up for piano lessons and never showed for one. I have been unable to make contact with her and the company just double talks with me. Now they call every month, and the monthly rate keeps changing, going up. When I inquired about the rate amount I did not get an answer. I would gladly send the machine back but I don't feel I should be held responsible for the monthly fee. I have closed my business, changed banks, moved and been up front with LFG and all I ask is the same treatment from them. Business Response: Business Response /* (1001, 15, 2014/02/03) */ Dear Ms. ******* Please consider this our formal response to above-referenced complaint. LFG does not have employees who directly solicit merchants such as the complainant to do business with our company. We rely on outside vendors and prospective lessees to negotiate and agree-upon the terms of the contract. We also reasonably assume prospective lessees are astute business people who would read and comprehend the contract in its entirety prior to signing it and thereby obligating their persons and business to its terms. I was contacted by phone and made an appointment to review their product with Molly McGrath, a sales rep for ******* Management Group. *** had the credit card end of the business and LFG the credit card machine. Naïve as I may be I trusted the sales rep when told "if I wasn't satisfied with the program I could cancel". I did read the conditions but again was assured if needed I could cancel! I contacted *** and they cancelled my contract with them and referred me to LFG. They said there was no way to break the contract with them. "read the contract" was their reply. I was sent a letter stating I had to pay an additional $4.95 for insurance. I did have insurance on their equipment and am still being billed the $4.95. I sent a letter in June of 2013 explaining I was unable to make payments because I broke my leg, moved and lost my business of teaching students music. I did not receive a reply to that letter. I continued to receive statements and made a few payments. When I contacted them again I was advised to pay $$450.00 and return the equipment. I didn't have the money to do so. As time has gone on I have been much more concerned with healing my broken leg and wrist and put this aside. I contacted you and you sent a letter to LFG and not until after I was in phone contact with LFG and got into an argument with them about my not paying did you get a response from them. I have not heard a word from LFG since that phone call. On January 31,2014 $33.18 was taken out of my checking account, without my permission. I have never given them my account information or suggested I would do an automatic draw. Now LFG is asking me to pay $1,103.29? I feel LFG has not been helpful with me or would help to work out a feasible solution. On the phone call in January the man on the phone was very rude, belligerent, threatening, very loud voice to be intimidating. Sorry that didn't work but in most other companies that kind of customer contact would not be tolerated! I called his manager ***** ********* and ***** sent me the written contract.I have also received a letter with the NON-CANCELLABLE LEASE from LEASE FINANCE GROUP LLC(LFG). The NON-CANCELLABLE LEASE that I received from LFG has different BASE MONTHLY LEASE PAYMENT and MINIMUM LEASE TERM compared to those from NON-CANCELLABLE LEASE that I received from ***** ************* though this is the same contract that **** has my signature on it). This proved that at the time sale agent **** ****** asked for my signature, he had not yet filled out and not revealed those numbers in order to get away with my signature on the contract without explaining in details. After **** ****** return to his hotel room, he then faxed one copy to LEASE FINANCE GROUP and he kept the original copy. LEASE FINANCE GROUP and **** ****** then filled out the numbers on the contract. That was the reason why the BASE MONTHLY LEASE PAYMENT and MINIMUM LEASE TERM were filled with different numbers and the numbers were unmatched on both copies. In the same manner, **** Heller had gotten away with my signature on the DELIVERY AND ACCEPTANCE RECEIPT from ********* LEASING, LLC. **** ****** had done a fraudulent act with ***** ********* approval against my business. Complaint: In Feb.2006, I signed a lease for a credit card processing machine and in a month or so , a Debit card authorization machine. In Oct. 2006 I leased a ATM machine. The contract for the ATM has a "SCHEDULE OF PAYMENTS" box which states "BASE MONTHLY PAYMENT OF $229 for 60 MONTHS". The payment amount and the total number of months is hand written by the sales person. The contract also states "NON-CANCELLABLE LEASE. THIS LEASE CANNOT BE CANCELLED BY LEASEE DURING THE TERM HEREOF." When I contracted the company and wanted to cancel the leases I have been told over and over I can not cancel because the lease is "NON-CANCELLABLE". As of DEC. 2013 I have paid $25,811.36 in payments to this company for the leases. I contacted the company and was told I could do one of two things. One, keep leasing the ATM or Two, buy it at full replacement value, IE: a new ATM. I was told that after having the ATM since 2006, I can now pay $5,000.00 for it. This sounds more like a postponed purchase plan than a lease. When I asked where to return the ATM I was told "We don't take things back".It seems that once you sign a lease with this company you must lease the ATM forever or pay full price for a 60 month old machine. Product_Or_Service: ATM

Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation) I just want this over. I am tired of their letters and threats. I want to know what to do with their equipment. Do I now own it or not. The ATM is somewhat out of date but I can't replace it. I do not want nor can I pay for two ATM machines.

Complaint: on march 22, 2012 ********** came in and sold us a credit card machine which he said would cost us $350 total made in payment of $35 month until we had that amount paid. Later find out he lied to us and actually the lease states its for 60 months total, and the equipment name isnt even on the contract! He also had where it says non-cancellable Lease covered up by his arm. Now we are being threated and abused by a collections department and they have put a chargeoff or collection account on my personal credit reports until this is paid and have are threating a civil action.

Desired Settlement: To just pay them the $350 minus what we have paid for 8 months already for the machine. $280 was paid already from april 2012 until nov 2012

Business Response: Business Response /* (1001, 15, 2014/02/24) */ RE: Case number: XXXXXXXX Complainant: ***** A. ********** Lease Number: XXXXXXX Lessee: *********/***** A. ********** Dear *******: Please consider this our formal response to above-referenced complaint. The sales representative who presented the contract to the complainant is not and has never been an employee of LFG. Therefore any promises and representations they made contradictory to the terms and conditions of the lease agreement cannot be held against LFG and its enforcement of said contract against lessee. On March 21, 2012, Lessee entered into a 60-month non-cancelable lease agreement. According to the lease agreement, Lessee has agreed to a repayment schedule which includes a base monthly payment of $35.00 plus sales tax and Loss & Destruction waiver fee. The Schedule of Lease Payments section of the agreement outlines total payments due from Lessee to us. By executing under the Lease Acceptance portion of the contract, the complainant acknowledged reading all terms and conditions of the lease agreement and that all blank terms on Page 1 were filled in at the time of signing. On March 28, 2012, a Welcome Packet was sent to the Lessee, which included a copy of the mutually-executed lease agreement for their reference and review. Our Quality Control Department also successfully verified on April 3, 2012 that equipment has been delivered, properly installed, in good working order and is being used as intended. On and after the inception of the lease agreement, it does not provide for unilateral termination by Lessee, and in fact expressly sets forth the absolute and unconditional obligation of Lessee to make all payments due under the lease agreement no matter the circumstances. The return of equipment on January 30, 2013 does not effectively terminate the lease. The remaining balance also needs to be satisfied. The Lessee made 14 payments, with the last one being received on *** 9, 2013. Due to its severe delinquency, the account was charged off on November 26, 2013 and subsequently placed with our attorney's office for escalated collection efforts, including possible legal action against the Lessee and Personal Guarantor. Complaint: Leased equipment,I was scammed into leasing equiptment for my credit card through this company called LFG. After 3 years and lots of money per month later, called and was told that lease would be up in 3 months and that there was nothing that they could do because I signed a lease agreement and that in the lease it states that I would have to pay the remaining balance in order to cancel the lease. Or call back the month the lease is up. Called them to end the lease since I was moving 2 weeks before the lease was up, just like the girl said. At that time the girl I spoke with reffered me to someone else and said that I would have to have but it in writting 30 days before the lease was up. There was nothing that they could do I now have another 3 year lease and had to pay it. After a long battle I wrote letter after letter to obtain the address that I needed to return my equiptment. After months and still paying the lease after sending back the equiptment a gentleman told me that I owed them money and to pay off the lease in advance and that would fix everything... So I did. Money order mailed the machine back had to pay for that too and still have all of the information that took place in a folder packed in a box since that business was sold 5 years ago. Well today, years later out of the blue, got a letter that they are iniatiating a civil action against me in the amount of $2,212.74 This is out of control and must stop now I am will to do what ever I have to do to stop this from happening to other people. Complaint: I had a salesman come to my bar on 03/03/13 with promises to save me hundreds of dollars on my credit card fees. One of the first questions I asked was "can I cancel at any time" the response was "yes, just send the equipment (credit card machine) back" It only took me about 3 months to realize I had been lied to so I went back to my old carrier. I sent the machine back certified mail and they still kept drawing money from my bank account. I closed my account so they aren't getting anymore money but now they call 4-5 times a day. I have told them that I will go through litigation before I will pay them. I have never seen this level of harassment from a company but doing a bit of looking on line, I can see I'm not alone

Desired Settlement: I would like the harassment to stop. If it means going to court, so be it.

Complaint: The representative for LFG, LLC had me sign a contract for a term of 48 months that would give me access to their credit card machine; he stated that all equipment leasing fees would be included with the processing charges. After signing the contract, I then received an official copy via mail which did not match to the original version I signed in the office. After noticing the differences in contract I contacted LFG, only to be put into an answering service. After, several more attempts to contact them I was finally put through to ***** in the contract department. She stated that she would have to pull a copy of my contract and would get back to me next business day, however; that did not take place. I then attempted to contact her again, and was continuously put into her voicemail with no call back. After several more attempts to get the matter resolved, no one including the manager or the representative who I signed up with would return my calls. It was only then that the business decided to close the checking account that the automated payments were coming from to ensure that no additional payments could be withdrawn. After our checking account was closed it was only then that the company started to contact us, however; anytime I mentioned sending over a copy of the contract they would state that a copy was not necessary and demand payment. I recently received a letter stating that my credit report would be compromised if payment was not received; it was only then that I submitted payment to avoid any issues with credit report. I have recently submitted a request to put a hold on the payment I made to LFG

Desired Settlement: The return of $2200.00 for settlement amount and for the contract to be null and void. Because of the changes that were made after signing.

Complaint: We were approached at our place of business by ***. *** was representing Lease Finance and Merchant services. She had wanted us to sign up for a credit card machine and the credit card processing. We are a very small shop, in a very small town, so from the very beginning I had questions and concerns on whether we would actually use a credit card machine that much. I asked many questions regarding length of contract, minimum monthly usage, etc. When answered by *** she told me she could cross that out and initial it that there is no min. monthly charge, no min. number of months needed to fulfill the contract. She then initialed and signed with me on all of those things stating that they were waived. After realizing that indeed we do not use the machine that much and that it was costing way more money, than it brought in, we cancelled the credit card machine. Leases Finance will not admit that *** works for, nor represents that company. I can not get ahold of *** either. Lease Finance states that she could not waive anything for them and that we are legal for all the payments left. My problem is if someone can solicit on your behalf and have people sign contracts on your behalf, They either work for or represent you. Lease Finance does not see it that way at all. They will not work with me, even though they are the ones that took full advantage of me. I was told and have the copy of my contract showing she crossed and so called "Waived" the issues I was concerned with.

Desired Settlement: I would like to quit being harassed by this company, on a daily basis, multiple times a day when they are the ones that flat out lied. I held up my end of the contract and now when it is their turn to let me go, as it was agreed on, they claim *** had no right to do any of that. That is their problem not mine. I do not feel that I should owe any more money.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2013/10/28) */ Please see attached for our response. Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 15, 2013/11/18) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) They were offering that response before the complaint to the BBB. I will pay this off only so they will quit calling me multiple tine a dat and interfering with my life. I am still sure that they acted inappropriately regarding how they conduct business with small mom and pop shops and send untrained sales associates out and about making false claims and promises. They get you to sign a contract that is so unclear and when you have a person claiming they can void this or that and cross certain parts out on your copy, you believe them. Then this company makes the contract stipulations so unjustified for a small company it will always be a lose lose situation with them. People be leary of this company and their false information thrown in your face. Also know if someone comes and offers a contract with this company and guarantees that they can switch this and that to fit your needs, the company will never see it that way. Even though that kind of behavior from a representive of that company should null and void that contract ;They dont care if you or them for that matter are clearly represented or explained properly and truthfully. If I had unlimited funds I would take them to court and gladly fight all their bold face lies. They take advantage of people and enjoy making a living doing so. That is fine karma does come around and one day someone will miss treat this company and thier selfish owners/ employees accordingly Final Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2013/11/17) */ Please see attached. Complaint: Lease # XXXXXXXA. I had a lease for my business *** ********** Inc. for a credit card machine and service that was terminated after 12 months when my business closed. At that time, the equipment returned to Lease Financial Group with information and a notice to them that the business closed. However, they continued to withdraw money from my business account after they received the equipment and notice to terminate the lease until the account was closed. Now they are sending me notices of Demand for Payment, and threatening me with legal action. I have sent them correspondance numerous times with information and requests to contact me, which they have not acknowledged, nor have they made any attempt to contact me. Instead, every couple of months they send threating letters to me, which I respond to via letters, to no avail. They state I owe them $10,575.77. My lease was for 1 year at $99/month, and with the amount they are trying to charge me for, the amount equates to another 108 months (almost 9 years). I am not sure what they are trying to do, but I have returned the equipment and followed the process to termniate the lease years ago (in 2007), but they still are trying to charge me for something I am not responsible for, and will not respond except for claims I have not responded to them, and they are demanding payment for someting that I am not responsible for.

Desired Settlement: I am seeking settlement in terms of having Lease Finance Group acknowledge that I do not owe them any money, and to stop their collection activities and remove anything pertaining to this from my credit report. I am also seeking to have this closed out with no action required from me, and that Lease Finance Group state, in writing, that the balance they claim due is null and void, and no monies or amounts are owed to them by me, and they stop threating me and trying to collect.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2013/08/27) */ Please see attached for our response. Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 13, 2013/09/20) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I do not accept *********************'s information nor proposed resolution, and find it insulting and unprofessional that they would even for a moment consider that their proposal is anything but bogous. This company uses different addresses for thier company, and even when you send correspondance to both locations I was able to find, they refuse to acknowledge the receipt of the correspondance, then try to justify by showing bogus phone records. The only resolution I find acceptable is for *************** to act like a respectable, ethical company and to acknowledge that I have taken care of my obligations to them many years ago, and to stop trying to collect for something they do not have due to them. Final Business Response /* (4000, 11, 2013/09/11) */ Please see attached for our response. I still do not accept this proposal for resolution as Lease Finance Group is only repeating themselves over and over, and not putting any effort into resolving the issue. As I have stated, the equipment has been returned years ago, and the lease terminated. I do not owe Lease Financial anything further and want this brought to a close once and for all. The only additional thing I will say is that IF anything, with appropiate proof from Lease Financial, if there is still two months owed to them at $99/ea, I am willing to pay this (total of $198) to close the issue. Other than this, I do not owe and will not pay Lease Financial for anything over and beyond this. Thank you. Complaint: I was approached by a sales rep representing both this Lease Finance Group and ******* ******* LLC in June of 2013. The rep reviewed my credit card processing statements for over two hours and after her evaluation came to the conclusion that by switching to their service I would save approximately 20% or the equivalent of $290.00 per month switching to their companies. The end result at the end of the month was that they charged me over $1000 more then I had ever paid in processing fees. When I called to discuss the discrepancy I was told "TOO BAD" you signed a 5 year contract. Lease Finance Group supplies the equipment and states "They have nothing to do with the sales representative that signed me up." I disagree! This agent works for the companies that provide this service. After many days and hours on the phone trying to resolve the discrepancy in the charges I was not making any progress. I then shut down my bank account and mailed back Lease Finance Groups equipment. They are now threating me for their $11,000 which would be the 5 years of using their equipment at $210.00 a month which I mailed back 30 days after receiving it. Unfortunately I did not do enough research on these companies and I come to find out this is ongoing scam they are pulling on consumers. Get you into the contract, overcharge your bank account and get you to stop the service so they can go after you for the equipment fees. The machine in question is not worth over $300.00. Companies like this should not be allowed to business and should be shut down immediately. It is hard enough to get by being a small business. Lease#XXXXXXX

Desired Settlement: Between Lease Finance Group and Payment Systems they have already scammed me for over $1200.00 in just one month not including the amount of business lost dealing with this fraudulent situation. I will take the $1200 as a loss and a lesson learned, they can keep it. I will even pay an additional $210.00 for the second month of rental fees on Lease Finance Groups equipment since it was in my possession for just a hair over 30 days running into a second month. I however want the contract dissolved. I also want any marks on my credit score to be removed from their company as well. Thank you, **** ***** *** ****** Jr. Inc. *** ***** Ave. *********** *** XXXXX President XXX-XXX-XXXX

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2013/10/04) */ Please see attached for our response. Final Consumer Response /* (3000, 9, 2013/10/07) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) As the BBB can see from your long list of complaints about this company this is a continuing practice for this corporation. In there statement they say they do not have representatvices for there company but use outside sources and they are not repsponsible for their actions. I am a business owner that relies on my reputation and would never put business representatives out in the work force that would hurt my good name. Maybe ****** Leasing should do the same. If they are such an honest corporation they would not tolerate other orginizations deceiving clients and selling their product. Once again as we can see from their reputation this is not the case. I am not satisfied with this company or their ethics. I refuse to pay the rediculous amount of $11,000 for using their equipment for one month. I also had called with in the first three days to cancel and they refused to even send me a fax confirming my phone call. They just stated "You signed a contract... too bad!". Also in another conversation their employee said jokingly "You will never win in court, nobody does.". As a final offer to resolve this situation I will pay a total of $500.00 for my mistake of signing with their representatvive. The lease is to be dissolved and I am not to hear from this company again. If this is not exceptable let them take me to court and I hope the BBB does their best to report this company to the appropriate authorities regarding their business practices. I will be doing just that. Thank you, **** ***** Final Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2013/10/28) */ Please see attached for our response.

Complaint: On August 26, 2013 ******* Systems came to my business offering wholesale rates to small businesses. They told me 1% on credit $0.09 on debit. It is in writing, however they are charging me more. Then they had me sign the contract, which they did not allow me review. The saleswoman hid the heading that said it was not cancellable. I am now stuck in a five year contract with terms I did not agree on. I have given the contract to my attorney, **** ****** ***** 3RD ST ****** ** XXX-XXXX). I did not have the authority to sign a five year lease nor did ****** Leasing as stated in their contract to contact merchant to review terms of the lease. After researching on the web, I discovered there are hundreds of complaints, which all sound the same. Additionally, the complaints sound very similar to my situation. Several business owners, including myself, are searching for a way out of this nightmare. If one can conduct a simple research on the Internet, they can easily find these complaints. ******* Systems are based in **********, but their wrath is felt everywhere against small, hardworking merchants. The *** **** Attorney General is now investigating ****** Leasing & Lease Co., whom are working together with ******* Systems. I plan to take further action until this situation has been investigated.

Desired Settlement: To be released from this nightmare contract.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2013/10/23) */ Dear Ms. ******* This is in reply to Lessee's complaint filed with your office against Lease Finance Group, LLC ("LFG") on September 24, 2013. Please note ****** Leasing Company ***** has assigned the agreement to LFG. LFG therefore has all the rights afforded *** as original Lessor but none of its obligations under the lease pursuant to Section 8 titled Assignment of the lease agreement. On June 27, 2013, Lessee entered into a 60-month non-cancelable lease agreement. Equipment was delivered at the Lessee's location on June 27, 2013. On July 10, 2013, our Quality Control Department successfully verified with the Lessee that the equipment was properly installed, is in good, working order and is being used as intended. LFG has only automatically withdrawn lease payments on the 9th of each month from the business bank account submitted by the Lessee at the time they executed the lease agreement. Any other fees that are being withdrawn are not originated by LFG. On and after the inception of the lease agreement, it does not provide for unilateral termination by Lessee, and in fact expressly sets forth the absolute and unconditional obligation of Lessee to make all payments due under the lease agreement no matter the circumstances. While we trust that the information we are offering herein should bring this to a close, if we may be of further assistance, please contact me at (XXX) XXX-XXXX, extension ***** Very truly yours, **** ******* Director, Customer Service Lease Finance Group LLC

Complaint: The credit card machine we leased was returned to the company. We changed card payment companies over five years ago. I received a letter today demanding payment in the amount of $2326.84. It also states this has been reported to the credit bureau. I am an individual and have never personally leased anything from them. My company had their machine and it was returned.

Desired Settlement: I would like the account they are referencing to be $0. This amount is not owed. Also, I want to make sure that this amount is not on my credit report and if it is, it needs to be removed now.

Complaint: Equipment leased became obsolete and would not work, but they refused to take it back and demanded continued lease payment. When I finally refused to pay, they sent a final demand. We agreed to a settlement, in which they returned part of the last payment ($35.49) we had made on 5-30-2012. Now I have another demand letter, dated 9-6-2013, from the same man, ***** ****** stating that I should have paid them $337.44. He is the account manager of Lease Finance Group. Can you get this crooked outfit off my back?

Desired Settlement: Please make this company let me alone. I owe them nothing, but Reina arrogantly demanded I send him $337.44, which he knows I don't owe. He denied the settlement we had made and paid no attention when I told him he had sent ME money to settle the account. He simply repeated his demand. ****** *******

Complaint: Leased a POS terminal on 4/24/07, contract sent via e-mail. Could barely read, talked to a fella named **** to clarify information about the contract. Desired Settlement: I do not want anything from them, but would like to see companies such as these stopped from preying on people and misleading them with the services they sell. I want the harassment to stop, when you are told one thing and then 4 years later you are receiving threatening phone calls and letters of law suits after you have done everything they said to end the service.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2013/08/26) */ Please see attached for our response. Final Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2013/09/04) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) These were not the terms explained to me at the time of this transaction. Why someone would be held to a contract after losing a business is beyond me. The equipment was returned as requested and I do NOT feel this is a proper business transaction on this companies part. I believe they prey on small business and then take them to court a 1000 miles away so they have no chance of winning the battle. I am unemployed and have been for over a year outside of 2 months and have other bills piling up and to have a company try to scam me out of money for a service I was unable to use is Ludacris. Complaint: After agreeing to the price of service with ******* ******* Corp., I was sent a machine and I received a phone call verifying that I had the machine, and I was charged that day for the machine. The first and second terminals did not work, but the third did, although I had been charged for machines that I did not yet use for the first month. The next 2 months, I was charged fees that were unsubstantiated. I was supposed to get my deposits next day, which never happened, but I was also charged with fees that were never expected. I had to keep asking for statements so my accountant could try to match the fees...which could not be explained. I stopped using the service and the machine at that point (and changed my account), and now I am told I cannot break contract with Lease Finance group, who owns that machine, or ******* ******** who continually took money from my account. I am being harassed by both companies and have been turned over to a collection agency. Lease Finance would not give me an address, but I eventually found it and had it delivered to them. I have since discovered that ******* ******* is contracted under Lease Finance Corp. and that this issue is common with them.

Desired Settlement: I am seeking to dissolve the contracts with both companies. Both have lied about the services and fees, and I will not use their services. I wish to be finished with both of them and their continual harassment. I will not pay them any more money for their service or the machine.

Complaint: Sometime in 2005 a salesman talked me into leasing a credit card machine. I no longer have the agreement because it has been over 8 years ago. But if I remember right, the amount was $99 a month, taken automatically out of my checking account. The lease was for 48 months. I fulfilled my lease. Shortly after fulfilling my lease, I decided to sell my business, in the fall of 2008. My business was a movie theatre called "***************" located in *****************. I contacted *** and told them I was selling my business and no longer needed the credit card machine. They instructed me to send the equipment back to them. Which I did by certified mail. I thought that was it, end of story. I finalized the sale of my business a couple months later. In the mean time I never heard anything from ***, they stopped taking money out of my account, no statements, no nothing. Flash forward 5 years later August 20 2013. I get a letter in the mail from ***, remember I haven't heard from these guys in 5 years. The letter was dated August 12 2013. This was a "FINAL DEMAND" letter. The letter included my lease #********. Outstanding balance:$8,962.16 In short summary the letter said that if I didn't pay in 10 days from the date of the letter, they were going to commence a civil action against me. I freaked out. I hadn't heard anything from this company in 5 years and now they were going to sue me. I tried contacting their office immediately. No answer. The contact person I was to talk to is ************, Accounts Manager, Legal Collections Department. Telephone #(***)******** Ext **** I try again on Tuesday, ***** answers. I give him my Lease#. I ask him what the problem was. ***** says "You haven't paid your lease for the last 4 years." I say "I don't have a lease with you, I haven't for the last 5 years". ***** says "Well, you still have our equipment." I say "I returned the equipment 5 years ago" ***** says "NO you didn't" in a real harsh voice. I start asking him other questions about the lease, for example how long I had it for. ***** says,"Your lease was for 48 months". I ask him "Did I fulfill my obligation on the lease?" ***** says "Yes". (To fulfill my lease I had to return the equipment) So I ask ***** "What was the problem, my lease was complete and closed" ***** HANGS UP ON ME!!!! I call him back. ***** says "he doenst have to explain anything to me, and he doesn't have all day to do the explaining." ***** then says "I hope you know this conversation is being recorded". I say "I have no problem with him recording the conversation" ***** then says (and this is real good for being recorded)"In your first phone call to me you said that you went bankrupt (ive never went bankrupt)and that you transfered the equipment to the new owner". I say "I never said that" (remember he hung up on me and I called him right back, maybe 2 minute elapsed in that time) I then ask him why they didn't contact me in the last 5 years. ***** says "You skipped out on us, we had to have the police do a skip trace on you". I inform ***** "That my address and telephone # has been the same for 17 years" He says "You have post office box #**". I inform him "that I don't have a post office box". Now Im going to get to the good part, I really hope he was recording the conversation. I ask him "How can you guys charge me almost $9,000 for a simple credit card machine?" ***** replys "When you don't comply with our lease after the 48 months, WE CAN DO WHATEVER WE WANT." That's when I thanked him and said goodbye. Long story short, they say they never got their machine, I was never notified, 5 years later they want to charge me for the 4 years prior and the machine. Was it my responsibility to make sure that the machine was signed for? After a month or 2 months wouldn't they call, fax, email, or mail me a notice that they didn't get the machine? why did it take them 5 years to notify me? Thanks for your help. **************.

Desired Settlement: I don't want a settlement, I just want the civil suit off my back, so they don't take money from me that I don't have. Maybe I should have checked to see if they got their machine, but I didn't. The reason I didn't is because I didn't have automatic withdrawals coming out of my checking account and they never notified me that the machine wasn't returned. To me it is their fault. They only communication ive had since 2008 is this FINAL DEMAND letter on August 12 2013. Thanks for your support.
