The Broker, *******************************, National Producer # ********, is a total fraud and a liar! I recently just had a baby and a mother of 3 and I was needing health insurance as I currently began working. I applied through marketplace online received and received so many phone calls, and one of them was *****. I Originally thought it was a scam and he tried to reassure me that he was not. I allowed him to submit an application on my behalf, and I was approved. The insurance carrier was UHC Golden Rule Insurance. ***** put me on a $15,000 deductible, and I was advised by UHC rep that the plan may not be covered under the *** program. For this main reason I emailed ***** on September 28 to cancel my plan as the rep from UHC also advised. On October 6, $211.30 was deducted from my bank account and when I contacted ***** he blamed me for not canceling the plan itself. I advised him the information that *** told me but he stated that they were not well informed and that I shouldve done so myself. UHC stated that it was the agents responsibility to advise them that I wanted my plans to be canceled and when I requested a refund the original rep from UHC advised me that it couldnt be done! I truly dont believe that the agent knows what he is doing, and I do not recommend anyone going to him for assistance! And I work with attorneys for a living, and I have all information and proof via email just in case the insurance commissioner needs to get involved! Please be on the lookout and be aware of this issue when applying to the marketplace and when dealing with *****.
