BBB Customer Review Rating plus BBB Rating Overview
BBB Customer Reviews Rating represents the customers opinions of the business. The Customer Review Rating is based on the number of positive, neutral and negative customer reviews posted that are calculated to produce a score.
|Customer Review Experience||Value|
|Positive Review||5 points per review|
|Neutral Review||3 points per review|
|Negative Review||1 point per review|
BBB letter grades represent the BBB's opinion of the business. The BBB grade is based on BBB file information about the business. In some cases, a business' grade may be lowered if the BBB does not have sufficient information about the business despite BBB requests for that information from the business.
BBB Letter Grade Scale
Star Rating scale
BBB Customer Review Rating plus BBB Rating is not a guarantee of a business' reliability or performance, and BBB recommends that consumers consider a business' BBB Rating and Customer Review Rating in addition to all other available information about the business. If the BBB Rating is NR then only Customer Reviews are used for the Star Rating.

Complaint: The realtor is holding our home keys hostage against all code of ethics claiming that we owe her $250 for cleaning fees. We did not sign any agreement with her to conduct any cleaning of our condo. She did not provide any estimates of the cleaning costs and we did not sign any agreements with her to conduct this service. We used our own contractor to conduct all the repairs and cleaning of the condo. Since she has displayed such lack of ethics, we have terminated her as our listing agent. But now she is refusing to return our keys which she has been holding hostage for more than 3 weeks. We have emailed and tried to resolve the issue amicably but she still refuses. This is highly unethical and we have also checked with the Chicago Association of Realtors and they have explained she cannot engage in such methods. We demand the return of the keys and an investigation into this business.
Desired Settlement: We demand the return of our keys and an investigation into this business and its practices
