Complaint: I entered into a contract with Titan Builders to remodel my kitchen on 9-8-2012. After much negotiating and finding finance work began in late September 2012. The cost of the work was $13,500.00. I was financed for $10,000.00 and I had to pay out of pocket $3,500.00. As part of the remodeling Titan was to install a "ceramic floor 12" with staggered design layout." On October 11, 2012 work was completed and I gave to Titan a check for $1,750.00 with a payment plan for the balance of $1,750.00. Sometime between the completion of the work and January 2013 as you walked on the floor you would hear a cracking sound and you could see the grout surrounding the tiles cracking. Titan came out and took up some tiles and replaced the clue and put the tiles back. On February 8, 2013 as I was sending in my out of pocket payment I mentioned to them for the second time that the floor was cracking as well as the grout that Titan needed to come back out and repair them and once again Titan came out. Well, on March 25 2013 as I was sending a payment in I had to inform Titan that it happen again and again Titan came out. Well, on May 29, 2013 as I was sending my payment in I had to inform Titan that it happen again and this time Titan sent a supervisor, ****, out to access the situation. **** took pictures, walked on the floor and could see and hear what I had been hearing and seeing the last three times concerning the floor. As **** was there at my house he called one of the Owners. I spoke with him and he assured my that the matter would be taken care of. The workers came out and repaired the floor once again. And low and behold, I kid you not the flooring and the grout is cracking again. THIS WILL BE THE FIFTH TIME THAT TITAN WOULD HAVE TO REPAIR MY FLOOR! NO MORE! The account number given to me for my out of pocket payment is #XXXXX. The payment for the $10,000 that was financed goes to Citizens Community Bank at $254.00 a month until paid in full. The sales person for the remolding contract was Mark *********
Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the cost charged me by Titan for the floor. I will say at this point in time that the remodeling of the kitchen as a whole is lovely the only problem was the floor.
