Complaint: I have been a member at the club since September 2011. As a student, I put my account on hold each summer when I leave campus. This summer, I froze my account, and towards the end of the freeze received an email reminding me that this was happening. I called the club to follow up as I had some questions regarding my account. I was directed to the voicemail of ************** as no membership staff were in at the time of my call and the woman I spoke with said he would call me back after he got back into the office the next morning. 4 business days passed and no one called me back, so I called the club again. I spoke with a very nice woman in membership who told me that for my inconvenience they would award me "several guest passes to my account, I'll put 5 on." When I went to redeem two last night I was told that there weren't any passes on my account. ***** refused to honor his colleague's promise to me to add them to my account and is continuing to refuse to give them to me. This situation is in fact all because he never returned my call and his colleague tried to cover for his error, and I have not appreciated the condescending nature with which I have been treated by this employee. When I asked him for his manager's information he stopped responding to my emails. I was treated rudely when I brought guests to the gym to redeem passes I was told were put on my account, and I have not appreciated this poor customer service. Product_Or_Service: gym membership

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2014/01/29) */ Regarding complaint ********* The evening that Ms *********** brought guests into the club when this issue came up membership advisor,***************, waived the guest fees for both of her guests. Customer Service Manager, *********** then gave Ms *********** additional passes afterwards. Therefore she was given all passes that she was promised. There was no written communication regarding passes both in our computer or via email between Ms *********** and membership. Typically no more than two passes are given out at any time. This was all discussed with Ms *********** in the club on 11/21/13. She still has 3 guest visits on her account.
