I recently purchased a Pit Boss Smoker from Lloyds True Value in ********************************. It did not work. We followed the rules and contacted Pit Boss directly. They were wonderful! They diagnosed that it needed a new controller. I also mentioned the condition it was in when we got it home. The asked us to contact the store and let them know about the quality assembly and workmanship. I did. The manager took it personally, and was rude, turns out the "Manager" was the owner. When I called back to get the managers name, so I could inform the owners how they are being represented, they kept hanging up on me. Finally the owners wife posted on social media, that they would make a full refund. when I brought it back, they screamed at me in the store about calling Pit Boss, and not them first! (There is a paper in the booklet that states that is what to do!) It goes on, but is a super unprofessional display by the owners.NOW for True Value: You contacted us that you would look into it, but then simply stated each store is independantly owned and operated. Cop Out! You sell franchises? Take some responsibility in your franchisees. Teach the owners how to properly and professionally run a business! You should be ashamed of yourself simply stating that they are their own stores.... Your NAME is in the building and the products. You have some responsibilities!
