    Advertising Review:

    On 6/30/2021 and 7/8/2021, BBB requested that the business modify the pricing and savings advertised on their website to clearly and conspicuously disclose the basis of the price comparison per Section 2.2 of the BBB Code of Advertising. As of 7/19/2021 BBB is awaiting the business’ reply.

    The BBB Code of Advertising states:

    2. Comparative Price, Value and Savings Claims

    BBB recognizes that truthful price information helps consumers make informed purchasing decisions and that comparative price advertising1 plays an important role in promoting vigorous competition among retailers. At the same time, misleading or unsubstantiated pricing claims injure both consumers and competitors. The following examples offer guidance on ensuring that pricing claims are truthful and not misleading.

    2.1 Advertisers may offer a price reduction or savings by comparing their selling price with:

    2.1.1 Their own former selling price;

    2.1.2 The current selling price of identical products or services sold by others in the trade area (the area in which the company does business or where the advertisement appears) (e.g., “selling elsewhere at $_______.”); or

    2.1.3 The current selling price of a comparable product or service sold by the advertiser or by others in the trade area (e.g., “comparable value,” “compares with products or services selling at $_____,” “equal to products or services selling for $_____”).

    2.2 In each case, the advertisement must clearly and conspicuously disclose which basis of comparison is being used.

    2.3 When these comparisons are made in advertising, the claims must be based on the provisions in Sections 3 - 7.

You can check trustpilot website, ************************************************************ and see how many bad reviews they have from us, the designers. This situation is for a few years at least, am relatively new there since I'm not motivated to work there in these situation. If you could so something, it would be great. For any further notices I prefer to be contacted over the email. Thank you so much!

    When crowdspring started off in 2008 the owner and staff treat the designers really well. This resulted in high paying clients and pages and pages of projects. Fast forward to 2023 and the owner and staff is threatening designers, delaying payments by at least 7 months, IF they pay the designer at all. All of the best designers left long ago, there is generally one page of projects. No high paying projects. And the owner is stealing money from honest designers who clearly need the money. Lets face it, people do not work for a "chance" at winning a project unless they need the money desperately. These are the people the owner is stealing from, those who need it most. Both the owner and the staff are highly unethical, possibly even criminal. Any complaints from designers results in their money being withheld and their accounts being banned. The business is clearly in the process of failing, less designers, less projects, dwindling income, with more designers leaving every day. There are NOT ******* active designers, there isnt even 50 active designers. The promise that designers will be paid within 10 business days is also a complete fabrication. The website is filled with false statements and promises. Many clients do not get refunds when they realize theyre not getting "thousands" of designers competing for their design and are stuck with only the most desperate who still have faith they will be paid if they win. It is a sad and pathetic end to a business that tarted out so promising. Let this be a ******* as soon as crowdspring started treating the designers badly and they started walking away, the business started failing, and now it is a pathetic shell of its former self that has to resort to thievery just to keep running. Its an embarrassment.
