    Went to buy furniture using my bank card when I found couchs they opened up their credit card in my name. Their computers were down so they stated papers would be sent to me. When I got them is when I saw they put them on their credit card. Called them and said I never asked the charges to be placed on their card. They insisted I did I asked to see the whole contract as 1 page was missing they said no. I told them to cancel the order as well as the card they said no due to credit cards privacy. The pages I do have show no signature the signature areas were highlighted including the signature area are blank not signed by me. I have been in contact by phone and in person to cancel everything they say they cannot cancel the card. Finally I spoke to the lady who took the order and she agreed to cancel everything and when I called her today ***** she said I need to come in because she needs the last 4 digits of my SS#. My daughter was with me when she said she would take care of it. I placed order on ****. They keep giving me the run around. Today ***** their credit card company sent me a ****. I have not given any money but they placed a $3,323 amount due. I sent a certified letter to the the credit card company to reverse these charges as I did not approve this card. I notified the **** county states attorneys office and they instructed me to write letters. Like me they are awaiting a response from them. Is there anyway you can help me. I am a senior citizen and I feel like they are abusing me. It is causing me extreme stress fearing they will continue billing me and charging me interest. I have never had this type of experience in my years of purchasing anything. Should I hire a lawyer to resolve this. Thank you

    I will begin with my entire family has purchased from Walter *****, my first and LAST! I ordered my furniture back in January of this year 2023. First and foremost my experience with the first sales lady was not good; very little knowledge of product. I did request a new sales agent ti help design. With that being said, i got a wonderful lady that came to my home and help design. I purchased furniture and was told furniture would be delivered in 4 weeks. I coordinated my construction of my home to the delivery tome of furniture. This is where it all goes wrong.1. Was told that half the total amount would be ran on credit card and delivery the other half. The entire amount was ran on my credit card .It took DAYS to finally get it settled, keep in mind, no return calls and when I did I had a very rude manager respond back. 2. Told that the furniture would be delivered in 4 weeks, got an email from ******* that it will be delivered now Mid - May, few weeks later another email from ******* that it will be mid -June. I was told a dishonest delivery day! I was excited knowing my furniture was coming in time for a party i was hosting, which never happened. Today is my delivery day June 24th, I have not had any day before call or email stating the time delivery will be. To have to write this complaint at 8am in the morning on s Saturday is very upsetting. Im very very upset with the Walter ***** sales and customer service.

    We apologize for any inconvenience. Had we known about this issue, we would have had the opportunity to provide a remedy but this review was posted before client contacted us. We have resolve by providing a full credit exchange with a $600 upgrade. Thank you
