I have two separate experiences with **** Electric. In the first case, I needed a new, larger breaker box installed at my 25-year-old home. I contacted two companies for quotes. I won't state the name of the first company here, but the quote seemed high and the owners didn't instill much confidence. The second company I called was **** Electric. Mr. **** was clearly a seasoned professional and I had every confidence that he would be able to successfully complete my project. He had the background, experience, and creativity necessary to convert our convoluted, multiple-box situation into one streamlined, large, single-panel breaker box. Plus, his quote was $600 less than that of the first company, even though he quoted higher-quality Square D equipment where the other company had not. Mr. **** got our project onto his schedule immediately and had the work done in a single day. I was definitely a happy customer. The second experience was in December 2021 when I needed several minor projects done. First, I needed to power an old treadmill with some special electrical requirements. Second, I needed a light fixture wired and installed in my home office. And third, I needed to move that office from one circuit to two, so that it could handle a greater power load. I immediately thought of Mr. Bock, but remembered him saying he would be unavailable for part of the winter. So I first called that other company again (the one that shall remain nameless), thinking that maybe I should be willing to give them another chance. They came out to provide a quote, and the amount seemed incredibly high. And once again these gentlemen didn't come across as experts. I might have been willing to pay that amount to a pro --- but not to these characters. If I was going to spend that much money, I'd rather it be someone like Mr. **** who I at least trusted to do a great job. So I decided to try Mr. **** despite my earlier recollection on his availability --- and was pleasantly surprised to find that he was in fact available and had an opening the following Monday. On a side note, many contractors these days seem to arrive late 'by default.' But not Mr. Bock; he actually arrived early. He had all of my work done in just a couple hours and he charged less than half of what the other company had quoted. When one has experiences like these, it's easy to feel an abundance of trust between the customer and the contractor. Trust that the pricing is fair; trust that the level of service will be high; trust that the expertise is not just adequate, but that it will exceed all expectations. I really appreciate the fact that I actually have an ally in **** Electric --- someone I can trust to help me; someone who I can recommend to my friends and family without any hesitation. Lastly, just a brief postscript: About 'that other company' that I mentioned previously. The one who had quoted that new breaker box at $600 higher than Bock. You might be wondering what they said about that new breaker box after they saw it during their second visit to my home. This was the most priceless part of the story! They both looked totally in awe of that new panel and commented about how 'whoever did that job was a real professional' - and that the work was contractor-grade and something you'd expect to see in a business rather than a home. They seemed genuinely impressed. I will attempt to include a couple of pics here (one 'before' and one 'during'). It's not much to go on, but as you can see, the difference is like night and day. I am very lucky to have found **** Electric. Mr. **** is a person of high integrity. In working with this company, I have every reason to believe that you'll have the same kind of positive experiences that I had. I would not hesitate to recommend **** Electric for any size/type of electrical project.
