Dear Sir,My husband Getzman ******** (*********************) have been trying to work out this ridiculous charge with East Side Family Dental for more than six months. We have called and spoken with ****** ***** and at least one other office staff member. I will begin from the beginning. We received a laminated card in the mail for a Xray and consultation for $5. I made an appointment and went in for those services. I was given the consultation and ***** came in with the total cost for the services needed. I was told it would cost over $1,000 for a cleaning and a tooth that needed filing!! And she could put me on a payment plan. I asked ***** why it would cost more than $ 800 to clean my teeth. I never heard of a cleaning that costs that much.She went on to explain, I needed a deep cleaning where it took two sessions to do it. I stated, I've never experienced a cleaning where they scrap and scale my teeth. I then stated, I had insurance and why would I still have to pay over $1000? ***** left and came back with over $500, I had to pay. I asked why again, her reply was, Well you have to pay your deductible. I then explained, I had paid my deductible for the year. She left and came back again to say, my fee would be zero and the insurance would pick up the rest of the cost. I asked, are you sure? ***** stated yes, I just got off the phone with them and since your deductible was met you will owe nothing. Great, I'll make the appointment. This was in May of 2021 and went over into July of 2021 which started a new year for deductibles. I loved all the dentists there and especially the hygienist who cleaned my teeth with her assistant. I referred my son and my husband to come in for xrays and a cleaning. They also bought a referral card that was sent to our home, and their x-rays and consultation were $1! My son came back and was given a regular cleaning. However, my husband was told he needed that same deep cleaning, and filingsI needed. Again, we checked with Ma
