Dishonest and deceptive practices. On 9/20/2023 I went for a evaluation. I gave them Xrays already completed. The dentis examining me, said he would submit a predetermination form to extract teeth. His plan was to recommend a upper partial. I was discouraged having to leave without front teeth replacement. ****** one of the receptionists told me hold on don't go on with the previous plan ordered by the current DR. *** said i want you to see ************************************ On 9/25/2023. "You can have a partial done here the same day. You don't have to leave without missing teeth". On that day 9/20/2023 I paid $****** deductible. 9/25/2023 I saw *******************************. After the examination ***** the other receptionist came with a bill and said it was about $9950.00. ***** the receptionist said they would need some money down to get started making a teeth impression. That day 9/25/2023 i paid $3850, because they said i would be out of pocket for $7700.00 that my insurance would not cover. I felt that was a high price. I checked with my **************** coverage. They explained to me that. Apple dentistry should not have taking in money from me for a down payment, because they have not completed in service yet. All they completed was a evaluation and two Xrays. I provided the other Xrays. ****** the receptionist, told me to come in and see ******************************* and i would not be charge the visit fee. *** would have a better plan for me and l would leave with some teeth. I spoke with ***** the other receptionist about my refund. *** said she had gotten my message I left. " ************ would be charged a small fee for the impression, because they sent it to the lab". *** would have to Speak with ******************************* first. I spoke with my **************** Delta Dental They should not have taken money from me, they are in the network and those are not the policies rules and procedures. No services were completed. for ****** deductible, down payment of $3850.******
