Complaint: In March of 2013 I enrolled in a credit repair program that promised to coding process to challenge information on their credit report and get it deleted. ******'s business ad claims he has a special process that forces the credit bureaus to prove they followed hundreds of regulations. If they can't, he says, his motto is: "If you can't prove it, you must remove it." According to ** Attorney General **** ********** office, the company never had a valid license to do business in the state of *** They also require you to enroll in *********** ***** who bill you 29.95 monthly so they can have access to monitor your credit report. I have called and left messages to schedule an account review phone call with Minister ****** through his assistant Ms. ******** ****** and my calls have gone unreturned. The last time I spoke with Minister ****** (head of the company) was in June and he stated he was on a conference call and would call me back and never did. My bank account was debited in April and then again in May for $250 and every month for 29.99 and not only has my credit not been repaired but it has worsened. ******* 5 News reported an investigation on 11/11/13 completed by the Illinois Attorney General's office announcing that the company is a fraud and the promise to repair consumer's credit is a scam.
Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the money that I paid to Credit Care Pluz as well as the $239.92 that I paid for the *********** Total membership.
