Kapital Electric was the company source from ****** to install an Electric Charger for my ***** Bolt. Kapital Electric came out and provided me an estimate to install two chargers in my garage on a one 40-amp break circuit. Fast forward to install. The two chargers are not able to be installed on one circuit like the estimate said. Kapital Electric then advised me it would be $400.00 more to make it work. I had no other choice but to approved since I needed the chargers installed to charge my car. I did spend at least two hours with a manager on the phone stating this was not my fault, and they should have known this was not possible since they install these chargers all the time. Moving forward to inspection, and the city found my home electrical panel could not support a 40amp breaker and they do not allow two chargers on one circuit. Kapital then provided me with a $2500 estimated to be within Code. I was not happy at this point; this company did not do the load calculations correctly and wanted more money. I found another solution and ended up fixing this issue myself. I was now within code to use the 40amp and I had to remove one of the Chargers that was installed. I wanted to note, before this work was done, my panel had a 30amp and I had a charger in the garage. This work was solely to have one more charger and to charge a bit faster. In the end the $400 upcharge was not even allowed or need by code and the $1500 for the original work was for really nothing. Now I have a 40amp on one charger. All of this to go up ten amps. Also, a month later, I had to change the charger out since it stops working. Only to find out Kapital installed the charger with drywall screws and did not seal the conduit hole. This charger came with the correct installation hardware needed since it is very heavy and needed to be sealed correctly since it is outside. I contacted Kapital they are not refunding me anything. Installation was 8/22 Second visit 10/11/22 This day was $400 added
