Complaint: Medical Business Bureauplaced a collection two accounts on my credit reports around October 2012. I disputed the account and requested validation of the debt according to my rights of the FCRA. They never provided this validation and it was removed from two of my reports. They continue to report this account on experian without validation. This is not allowed according to the FCRA. I disputed the account again and they continue to falsely verify this account. I do not have the complete account numbers because I have never been contacted about this debt and it has never been verified. Experian shows *********XXXX for $210 and *********XXXX for $390

Desired Settlement: I want this account to be deleted from my credit reports permanently and written confirmation that this will not be transferred to another office

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/10/07) */ The consumer has never disputed the debts through Medical Business Bureau. The accounts were disputed through the credit bureaus. We have reported the accounts as disputed to the credit bureaus as we are required to do.We have 2 accounts for Anesthesia Consultants of Florence in the amount s of 390.00 from April 4, 2012 for services at Carolinas Hospital and 210.00 for services June 4, 2012 at the same hospital. The consumer may contact us at 800-438-8146 to resolve the accounts. Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/10/07) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I have disputed these accounts with the credit bureaus and asked for validation on these accounts which i still have not recieved. If these debts are "valid", they should have no problem uploading the itemized proof showing they are allowed to report this debt and i signed itemized agreement that this debt is mine. This is very damaging to my credit and require that they delete immediately and agree not to sell the debt again if they cant provide this proof. If they are not willing to do this, i will file a compaint with my states AG as well as there states AG and a comlplaint with the CFPB along with exercising my rights under the fcra for all rules they have not followed on how these collections are reporting and there refusal to validate Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/10/08) */ First of all the accounts have not been bought they have been placed for collections. We will request that the accounts be deleted from the consumer's credit file; however since we do not own the accounts we cannot guarantee what our client will do with the accounts.

Complaint: I recently got a credit card to improve my credit. Approximately 3 months after opening this account,I noticed a derogatory account. Having not had any bills which should've been turned over to collections, I learned there was a $501.00 balance owed. After having contacted the Medical Business Bureau, the referred me to the hospital which I was seen back in February 2013. I couldn't understand why this was showing up 2 years later unpaid. I am a Good Health Clinic patient where all my bills are written off as charity. The lady I spoke to said she would take care of this for me. I asked about how long it would take to be removed from my credit report. She stated once they've reported it to Trans Union, it shouldn't be any later than August 28, 2015. This still hasn't been resolved.

Desired Settlement: I would like this removed from my credit report as I'm trying to rebuild my credit.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/09/22) */ We spoke with the consumer July 14, 2015 and informed her that we need something from her showing that the account is charity. She was going to contact the physician. We have not heard back from her and the physician has not cancelled the account. We need proof of charity. Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/09/29) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The person, I believe her name was Peach, informed me this was written off as charity care and they would remove this from my file and report it to Trans Union. Nobody informed me I needed to show proof, they already had proof from what I was told. Then to check my credit again on 8/28/15 and it should be removed. It's still showing as delinquent.

Complaint: I received a letter indicating this account was going to be sent to collections if I did not mail in payment by a certain date. Before I could call the company, a young man call regarding the debt and I let him know I was going to call but he beat me to it. I confirmed with him that there wouldn't be a negative action on my credit report and he said no because I made the payment in full over the phone. Today I pulled my credit report only to learn the negative activity was posted on my 3 credit reports after I paid the balance owed in full. I need this information removed from ALL 3 reporting bureaus IMMEDIATELY

Desired Settlement: I am looking to have this false negative information removed from all three of my credit reports immediately.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/08/31) */ Medical Business Bureau has 1 account for the consumer for Lincoln Park Anesthesia for a service date of June 28, 2013 in the amount of 195.00. We received a payment of 95.00 on March 31, 2014 and there is a balance of 100.00. We have never spoken to the consumer. If the balance has been paid we will need proof of payment. When the account is paid we will request that it be removed from the consumers file.

Complaint: I was declined a loan due to have 7 collections on my credit report which I was completely unaware of. Upon digging into my report, I was informed that I had 7 medical bills in collections. I had never ONCE been contacted by this company (mail, phone call, e-mail, etc) to inform me that I had bills in collections. After contacting them, they stated that the bills were from 2005, and they had put these collections on my account in error, and I was in no way responsible for this debt. I was a minor in 2005, and was not at all responsible for this debt, which was confirmed by the company. It had been on a bankruptcy ledger by my father, which they had failed to acknowledge. I am VERY upset at this fraudulent practice which has now affected my life as denial of a loan due to THEIR error. I was NEVER contacted by them, and am upset to have had to spend my time and energy fixing THEIR mistake.

Desired Settlement: I am not sure what they can do to fix this. They are already taking their fraudulent error of collections notices off of my credit report. I wanted to make sure this does not happen to other consumers and want them held accountable.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/09/10) */ Medical Business Bureau has requested that the accounts be deleted from the consumer's credit file. The consumer can have her loan company contact us and we will verify that the accounts are being deleted. Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/09/10) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) There was no apology for or acknowledgement of their error, nor the time and energy which I have had to spend rectifying their error. There was also no acknowledgement of a plan to prevent the same error occurring to other vulnerable consumers, such as minors.

Complaint: My ******** ID: XXXXXXXXX. If this had been a real/correct charge, Medicaid would have covered it. I was a Traditional Medicaid recipient until June 2015. ******** is considered payment in full for medical services. MBB is reporting $700 due to Account Number: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX from ******* ********* Associates. They have no record of this bill. I have disputed this charge on my credit report, and MBB refuses to remove it. I verified with the billing/admissions at ****** Medical Center (now a St. *****'s Hospital) that they had my insurance info on file. It is inconceivable to owe an emergency room money when you have medicaid.

Desired Settlement: This must be deleted from my credit, as it is an error.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/09/03) */ We have cancelled the account and requested that the account be removed from the consumer's credit file. Complaint: To Whom It May Concern: While visiting *****************, my son had an emergency room visit on 11/29/15 due to bronchitis and asthma. After our return to *** ******* Emergency Associates began billing me and ultimately sent me to collections while I was disputing the coverage with my insurance company. I contacted the collection agency, Medical Business Bureau (MBB), and informed ****** the representative, that I was waiting for my insurance company's reply regarding emergency coverage. I continued to receive bills from MBB as well as phone calls from ***** threatening me that this would be reported to the credit bureaus. I did not want to ruin my good credit so I mailed a check for $100 on 5/14/15 to MBB thinking I would be refunded if my insurance company paid. A few days later I received a letter from my insurance company (******* **** ***** **** ************) that they reprocessed the claim and paid the full $768 to ******* ********* Associates. I called ***** at MBB and informed him the bill was paid in full. I was asked to wait 7-10 days before calling back to find out if the insurance payment went through. I called back and was told it was still not paid, even though ******* confirmed it was paid in full on 5/12/15. I called and spoke with ***** at MBB on 5/20, 5/21, 5/27, 6/5, 6/19, 7/6, 7/9, 7/17, 8/4, 8/7, and 8/20 2015. I also mailed a certified letter on 7/1 which included ********** Claim Service Details and a detailed Explanation of Benefits which stated that $768 was indeed paid. After receipt of my letter, ***** said a refund would be issued. I followed up after patiently waiting for a couple of weeks, but he made more excuses and said to call back in a couple of days. Finally, on 8/7 he said a check had been mailed to me on 8/6. Today is 8/20. I still have no check. I spoke with him today and he said call back in a couple of days so he could find out what happened. I have been patient but I need to resolve this issue as soon as possible. $100 may not be a lot for some people, but for a single mom who makes peanuts, $100 is a lot of money! Please help. Kind Regards, ****** *******

Desired Settlement: I would simply like to be refunded for the $100 check (#2287) wrongfully cashed by Medical Business Bureau as the claim was paid in full by my insurance company and I did not owe anything. On a moral note, Medical Business Bureau and its employees should be ashamed of themselves for threatening my credit score, causing undue stress, lying, and wasting endless hours of my time.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/08/20) */ Medical Business Bureau just receivd the payment from ******* ********* on August 6, 2015. Therefund is being processed and will be mailed to the consumer in the next few days. Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2015/08/21) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) ***** at Medical Business Bureau explicitly told me on August 7 that the check was mailed to me on August 6, 2015. I do not appreciate the dishonesty of this business, the time I wasted dealing with blatant lies, or the undue stress of the entire situation. This was handled very poorly on their part. I look forward to actually receiving my refund and hope this isn't just another false promise. Thank you, BBB!

Complaint: Medical business bureau also did an unauthorized electronic signature on a check in my name that had my outdated mailing address. I have the check #: **** as well as the routing no.: ********* and account number ********

Desired Settlement: I was contacted on 9/24/2014 by the medical business bureau and was told that I owed a hospital bill for an ER visit in austin tx around 8/2013. When I asked for a bill listing each charge, they refused to provide it to me. The collections agent harassed me and told me if I didn't pay the 704.95 that I would have a mark on my credit report and my account balance would be turned over to another collections agency. After being harassed by multiple calls from the MBB and a threat of a mark on my credit report, I reluctantly wrote them a check for the amount of 704.95. I am requesting a full refund for the amount of 704.95 as well as a formal apology from the company admitting that this was an unethical and irresponsible business practice. I am also requesting that i never be contacted again by the MBB regarding any collections amounts because I do not want to be harassed and threatened again for a completely unaccountable amount. The MBB acted unethically, irresponsibly, and without any regard for my personal privacy and sensitivity to my bank information. Their practices are unacceptable and completely unethical.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/07/15) */ Medical Business Bureau spoke with the consumer on September 23, 2014 regarding a bill for Capital Emergency Physicians in the amount of 704.95. The date of service eas April 30, 2014 and is the emergency physicians bill at South Austin Hospital. The consumer's insurance paid 114.05 and the balance was patient responsibility. The consumer promised to pay the account. September 24, 2014 the consumer called our office and paid the balance by electronic check. He called our office again on Sept 29, 2014 and stated his insurance EOB showed bal was a w/o; however EOB was for the hospital charge and not the physician. He called us again on October 20, 2014 stating the same info about the hospital EOB and that he wanted his money back. The bill is a legitimate bill and we will need proof that insurance paid or w/o the physicians bill. Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 9, 2015/07/15) */ I just contacted my insurance, Cigna, for a detailed amount of the claims for the 4/30/2014 visit. there were 3 claims: 1. St. David's S Austin Medical claim amount: $819 billed by Capitol Emergency Associates Cigna paid: $ 555.20 I paid: $138.80 2. St. David's Claim amount: $1755 Cigna paid: $697.39 I paid: $166.61 3. St. David's Radiologist charge claim amount: $32 Cigna paid: $10.59 I paid: $2.65 Cigna said Capitol Emergency Physicians came back after the claim was filed and billed $125, which I also paid. According to Cigna, this was "Balance billing" by Capitol Emergency Physicians According to my insurance, Cigna, no records show that $114.05 was an amount paid by Cigna for the 4/30/2015 claim. They have no record of that. Medical Business Bureau is claiming that my insurance paid this amount. They did not. Cigna also said that the $704.95 that Medical business Bureau is charging is not a legitimate bill. MBB claims that this is an "emergency physicians bill at South Austin Hospital", but then later in the comment they left on this complaint, they said "the EOB was for the hospital charge and NOT the physician". This conflicting information leads me to believe that the amount in question, $704.95, which my insurance company, Cigna, cannot account for, is a fraudulent charge. I never received any bill from Capital Emergency Physicians at South Austin Hospital indicating that I owed this amount. If I owed this amount, I will have received a hospital bill detailing the amount owed and how much insurance covered. When i looked at my insurance to get more information, I discovered that there was no claim from South Austin Hospital indicating that I owed $704.59. In fact, I have never visited this hospital. I had an emergency visit at St. David's Hospital in April 2014. Final Business Response /* (4000, 12, 2015/07/21) */ Since we are not the original creditor we only have the records Capital Emergency has given us. We will issue a refund and close the account. Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 14, 2015/07/23) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) I accept this proposed resolution. I do anticipate a refund in FULL in the amount of $704.95 when can I expect the refund to be issued to my bank account? When will the account be closed? I also want Medical Business Bureau to be aware that I will not answer any calls or provide any payment in the future until I have verified all charges with my insurance and with the hospital. I will also not take kindly to being harrassed by a collections agent again.

Complaint: "Patients are able to make a payment by linking to our secure website as long as they have received login information from the original letter that was sent out." Not only have they not set me a letter, they refused to do so when I spoke to them over the phone. They also refused to provide me documentation they claimed to have that would prove that this is my debt.

Desired Settlement: Simply provide necessary info, that they say on their website they will provide, to move forward with clearing up this debt collection issue.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/05/20) */ Medical Business Bureau does not have a payment portal on their website. We also do not have a link to one on our letter. The consumer may contact us at XXX-XXX-XXXX to pay via telephone or a payment for the balance of 128.38 can be mailed to P.O. Box 1219 Park Ridge, IL 60068. Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/05/25) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Medical Business Bureau refused to give me information over the phone or to send me information to prove the debt belonged to me. They also refused to give me info over the phone or send me information regarding any MBB account reference so that I am sure the payment would go to the correct debt. MBB also refused to give me info over the phone or send me info about the original creditor or who they bought the debt from so that I may be able to research the debt origination. Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/05/28) */ Medical Business Bureau does not have any account for the consumer. If the accoount is under a different name the consumer will need to provide that information and how they are related as we cannot give out information on another person's account without written authorization.

Final Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2015/05/14) */ The bill is not from the hospital it is from the emrgency room physicians. Also the bill shows a zero balance as you can see the line item dated 11/30/13 they did an internal adjustment when they sent the account to collections. The balance due is 417.47.

A letter was snet to the address listed by the consumer on March 7, 2014. The account will be removed from the consumer's credit file once it has been paid. We have requested that an itemized bill be sent. Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 12, 2015/04/13) */ I never received written notification that the file will be deleted from my credit report if it is paid in full. But I see in the notes here, that the business has acknowledged as such. If that is indeed the case, and the business can verify it through the BBB, then I will pay it in full this week. Final Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2015/04/13) */ The consumer can contact our office to settle the account. If the account is paid it will be removed from the consumer's credit file. An iteamized bill was mailed to the consumer and 2 letters have been sent since we received the account.

Complaint: On March 27, 2015- I checked my credit history and I was notified I had some unpaid medical bills. I contacted the collection company that had my account and tried figuring out my issue. I went through multiple reps that were not able to find my account, but finally got in touch with the rep. I requested account #'s and information, but was told they cant help me with that and I had to pay the $61.00 that I owed. I provided my information and was told that they will clear it and by April 1, 2015, I was in the green. I called back 2-3 days later to discuss why my account was still not charged and they gave some random excuse that I did not believe. Its April 1, 2015 and my account is still not in the green and I really frustrated with the customer service and reps. They do not provide you with my receipts, clearance forms, or abide by collection agency polices. Again their delay will adversely cause my credit to be ruined more.

Desired Settlement: I would like a receipt, clearance form, and also this to be cleared from my credit report.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/04/02) */ We have posted the payment. The account is paid in full. The consumers credit file will be requested to be deleted on Saturday April 4, 2015 when we send them our file. It may take 10-14 days for the credit bureaus to update heir records. Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/04/10) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) This still has not been cleared off my account. I followed up and made sure. Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2015/04/13) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) You guys need to hurry up. This is ridiculous and I hate being lied to. I was promised April 1 and then April 4 and now I have to wait. Figure this out and send me a confirmation. Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/04/13) */ We are requsting that it be deleted again. It may take longer for the credit bureaus to update their info. You can dispute the account with them also.

I contacted Medical Business Bureau at the phone number provided and they told me that they sent out 2 notices about this account that were never delivered because the us postal sent them back. Complaint: My attorney ***** ******* at ****** & ****** first filed the Chapter 13 Case no: XXXX-XXXXX-PP-13 in 2011. The Chapter 13 was then converted into a Chapter 7 In June 2013 when it was filed. The Chapter 7 was discharged on April 28th, 2014. Since the charge originated on September 5, 2013, prior to the date that the Chapter 7 was filed, the charge from the Medical Business Bureau of $646 should not have been reported on my credit report and was legally included under the bankruptcy. The collection was reported to the credit bureau on January 31, 2015, 2 years after the date of the original charge and was reported without any attempt of notice by mail, email or phone to contact me and without legal ability to do so. In addition, this has adversely reported on my credit report as an item in collection which has already significantly adversely affected my credit score and record and will continue to do so until it is resolved. I wish to have this charge immediately dismissed, the credit bureau notified immediately of the company's mistake, and get it off my credit report under a "collection". Ideally, my credit should be brought back to the score if should have been as if not reported in January and not in collections, so as to reflect the true score without this attempt to collect a debt I am not legally responsible for.

Desired Settlement: I wish to have this charge immediately dismissed, the credit bureau notified immediately of the company's mistake, and get it off my credit report under a "collection". Complaint: The collection agency is unresponsive to a bill they are attempting to collect on. The issue is the hospital did not bill my insurance even though I had, and still continue to have health insurance.

Desired Settlement: To remove derogatory mark from my credit report.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/03/23) */ Medical Business Bureau has attempted to contact the consumer and was informed in 2012 that he could not afford to pay the bill. The account is for an emergency room physician bill at North Austin Medical Center October 23, 2010. We have not had any contact since 2012. The consumer may contact our office at XXX-XXX-XXXX to resolve the account. Once it is paid it will be deleted from the consumers credit file. Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/03/23) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Again, I am questioning the validity of the bill as it was incorrectly processed. At the time I had valid insurance which was given to the hospital. The hospitals internal controls for billing failed to process through my insurance which would have covered the expense. As such, I should not be liable for this bill. Additionaly, the collection agency should not be permitted to post erroneous charge to someone's credit report. I officially request this be removed from my report as it is incorrect. Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/03/24) */ ******* ********** billed ***** insurance on November 2, 2010, January 4, 2011, & again on February 16, 2011. Complaint: MBB automatically put multiple items on my credit prior to sending me any type of notice. By the time my insurance or wife had paid the bills directly to the doctors, MBB had already placed the items on my credit. Once the doctors received the payment they corrected their accounts, but MBB still showed as collections on my credit with a $0 balance. Now they are trying to lump all previous individual accounts into one large account, when they have all been paid, but they will not go back to the doctors to verify that everything has been paid. It is split between 2 insurance companies because I changed jobs. One, ****** did not allow balance billing, so when I got the bills showing the balance billing from doctors, I called ***** and they paid the bill. My current insurance, **** allows balance billing, so when the bills come in my wife just pays them because they are such small amounts. Any service dates prior to January 2014 would fall under ***** and was paid by them. Anything after that date, would be **** and my wife paid through the bill pay with our bank.

Desired Settlement: Remove all accounts from credit report as they never should have been put on my credit.

Complaint: My son ***** ********** received services at St ******* ******** in ********* back on June 12, 2013. The physicians group handling pathology ****** ****** ************** ****** submitted a claim to our insurance provider ****** Health (ID XXXXXXXX*XX-XXXXXXXX*03), which included several line items of various medications. Only one of the lines was billed with the appropriate code, reflecting that co-insurance in the amount of $4.22 would be due. The remaining items were denied using the code "T531 - This is not a valid modifier for this code". I spoke to ****** and they explained that physicians need to resubmit the claim with the appropriate code. I eventually received a bill from ***** ****** ********* and it was for the entire remaining balance of the items not paid by the insurance company. They simply balance billed me instead of fixing their claim. I wrote them a letter and included my EOB where it showed my responsibility was $4.22 and the remaining amount needed to be properly billed to the insurance company. I later received a second bill for the same charges. I once again mailed a letter with my EOB and once again explained that this needed to be addressed with the Insurance Company and also left them a message. Then several months down the road I receive a letter from the Medical Business Bureau. LLC, (Acct #MXXXXXXXXX) they are now requesting that I pay the balance. I once again mail them a letter, also cc'd the original physicians explaining that I will not be bullied into paying this balance just because the provider did not take the necessary steps to full-fill the claim. A few months later I get yet another letter from Medical Business Bureau, LLC. So I once again mail them a letter with my EOB explaining I am not subject to these charges. Then the phone calls come. I explain to multiple people who speak broken English and have no understanding of medical billing that this is balance billing and the proper channels need to be followed, (ie proper billing through insurance). They just repeat that this is a debt and needs to be paid, clearly not listening to anything. I explain to them that if they want their money they need to speak to ****** and fix the billing code used, as I have no knowledge of medical billing and am not responsible to pay this due to the laziness of others. Since Medical Business Bureau, LLC has no recourse with me, they do the only thing they can. They report to the credit agencies that I have a $423 debt. This is not a legitimate debt! My EOB shows I owe $4.22 which I will gladly pay once I receive the appropriate invoice! I spoke to Medical Business Bureau on 12/1/2014 and I explained that the my EOB shows a medical billing code error and I am only responsible for $4.22. They ask me to send it to them, I explain I have done that twice, but will gladly email it right now and we can go over, they then tell me that they have no email and it has to be mailed. I inform them that I find that hard to believe that in 2014 no one has email at your company. Then all of a sudden they say they have the EOB and I owe the money, and provide no other detail. They then tell me that they are closing soon and to call back tomorrow. It was 5:11 Central time and they close at 7 pm Central time. Just a flat out lie since they had no position to argue their case or action. I asked if this was a scam. The lady on the other end of the phone sat in silence for well over a minute. I eventually asked for a supervisor where I was just left on hold until I was forced to hang up. This companies ability to report to the credit agencies needs to be revoked immediately. They are completely careless with this power and it is used solely as coercion tactic to get money. Not to report legitimate debts. THIS NEEDS TO BE REMOVED FROM MY CREDIT REPORT IMMEDIATELY AND I WILL GLADLY WORK WITH THEM TO GET THIS RIGHT. BUT THEY HAVE TO ACTUALLY WORK WITH ME!

Desired Settlement: The illegitimate debt needs to be removed from my credit report. If they cannot fix the billing errors then I should not be subject to pay them. I am not paying them just because the original physicians did not feel like getting into a billing code war with the insurance company over a few hundred bucks. I assume Medical Business Bureau cannot fix this either. Well I certainly cant resubmit the claim! I will gladly pay them $4.22 as shown on my EOB. The rest needs to either be corrected or it needs to go away as it is not a valid debt. I can certainly pay the $423..that is not the point. I will not be forced to pay something because someone is blackmailing me that is essentially what they have done with their attempt of a quid pro quo. I have flawless credit, and now I am unable to refinance my house which my family needs done because of the recklessness of the Medical Business Bureau.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/12/02) */ We are checking with *** ****** ********* to see if the claim can get corrected. We will also request that the credit bureaus delete the account from the consumer's credit file.

Complaint: I have had several collections with Medical Business Bureau over the past 10 years. I was unable to pay them off until recently. I have paid off all of them that are still within the statute of limitations on credit reports. I was recently contacted by them referencing an older debt, which they apparently knew more about than they should have per ***** laws. They referenced a specific procedure over the phone that they should not be allowed to even know about.

Desired Settlement: I would simply like MBB to remove the negative reports for the paid collections from my credit reports and follow ***** laws. They should have no ability to see what medical information they are collecting on. I also believe that they really shouldn't be allowed to call themselves Medical Business Bureau,as a potential employer could pull a credit report, see the collections and not offer myself or someone else a job due to seeing visits/stays in the hospital.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/12/01) */ Medical Business Bureau has requested that the accounts be deleted from the consumer's credit file. It may take up to 30 days for the credit bureaus to update their information.

Complaint: On or about 11/2013, I received an email from my ****** ***** stating that a collection account was added to my credit bureau report. I pulled my report and found that the company that I was making payments to sold my debt to Medical Business Bureau. I never received any information as to who or where to mail my payment or what to do if I dispute the collection account. When I called the number on the Credit Bureau to discuss the situation, they couldn't find any records; however upon further search they were able to locate a record, I immediately paid the amount due ($194.00) and was assured that the account would be deleted. I recently checked my credit and found it was still on my report. I called again to discuss, and again they couldn't find the account until further research. I told them about the previous discuss and they stated that it was illegal to delete the account due to the Fair Credit Reporting Act and therefore would not delete it. Which violate the original agreement.

Complaint: Calling me without verifying who they are and no explanation as to why they are calling. After asking for the supervisor 6 times I got a cryptic answer. I told them I don't know who they are and for the security of my family I won't tell them anything. I told them if you are a bill collector please send a bill to my house. I told them I never got a bill they won't send a new bill because they already sent one. Well, I never got it and I all I wanted was a paper bill so I could understand and verify what they wanted. If I really owe you a debt, then you should have no problem proving to me that I owe it. I will pay it in full when they can provide any evidence to me that a bill is unpaid. Until this evidence is given I need to be left alone.

Desired Settlement: I want to be left alone until they provide by mail evidence that I owe any money. If I really owe money I will pay it, but they must offer proof first. If someone calls me asking for personal information with no explanation as to who they are I cannot give them that information. Mail give me 1)some sort of belief they know who I am, 2) a chance to explain for what service I owe money, 3) some sort method to contact them to pay it so I know I'm talking to a representative of their company. Complaint: *****************. did lab work during my hospitalization at Saint ****** Hospital in 9/2014. At first Medicare rejected part of the pathology claim but, after I appealed, they accepted the items that were appealed and paid their part. I did not know that after a successful appeal Medicare does not forward the claim to the Medicare supplement insurance. I began receiving bills from *****************. in I called **********************************; I called *****************. (but they are not consumer friendly). In June, 2014, I wrote to the ***** claims department as directed by their phone rep. On July 15 I called ***** again, the rep made a call to ************* and explained that it had already been paid by them and she would fax them a form (E1B?). She conferenced me in and I asked the ************* rep about the collection agency. She said I didn't need to call, they would take care of it. Yet today, August 15, 2014, I received another bill from Medical Business Bureau, LLC. Called their number and got a useless person in *****. Called their number (different from that on the bill) and '****' transferred me to *****!

Desired Settlement: I want Medical Business Bureau, LLC to leave me alone and to acknowledge to me IN WRITING that I owe them no debt.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/08/19) */ ************* informed us 08/19/2014 that the account has been paid. We have requested that the account be deleted from the consumer credit file. Consumer Response /* (3000, 12, 2014/09/10) */ The business has not provided a letter, printed on paper and delivered via U.S.P.S., stating that this debt was not owed by me and was paid by Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Illinois. I will not consider this resolved until I get the letter. My apologies for the delay but more pressing matters came up. Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2014/09/10) */ We have sent the consumer a letter informing her the account has been paid. Business Response /* (2000, 16, 2014/09/18) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) On September 16 I received a mailed piece from Medical Business Bureau, LLC. Rather than a letter, it was a statement, dated September 15, 2014, showing principle, interest and total due of $.00. On the reverse side it showed seven line items, each with a 'total due' of $17.29. This is not what I wanted but at this point I think it's the best that can be expected. Considering the bill had been paid by the insurance company months before this was sent to collections it is disappointing.

Complaint: There is an account now showing on my credit for $55 from this collection agency. I have tried calling EVERY phone number out there and ALL of them are out of service. I have also submitted a form on their website and no response. This needs to be removed from my credit immediately as the collection account is preventing employment opportunities.

Desired Settlement: REMOVE FROM CREDIT REPORT IMMEDIATELY

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/08/19) */ The account is for ****** Emergency Physicians it is the physician bill for services at ******** **** ********* Hospital on July 28,2013. The account will be removed from the credit bureaus once the account is paid. Please contact our office at XXX-XXX-XXXX. Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2014/08/25) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Payment of the outstanding $55.77 was paid in full on 8/22. However, when the payment was made, I was told that they will not delete it from the credit bureaus. I advised them of their response to the BBB in which they stated that "The account will be removed from the credit bureaus once account is paid." They claimed they never said that and they would never put anything like that in writing. They asked me to fax over a copy of this response that the BBB received from them. I did. This account must be deleted from the credit bureaus as they promised. Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2014/08/27) */ We have requested that the account be deleted from the consumer's credit file. It may take the credit repositories up to 30 days to reflect this.

Complaint: It came to my attention a couple of years ago that MEDICAL BUSINESS BUREAU had me listed as being in default on a medical bill. I emailed the company with a copy of the check for the bill (from 2011) and did get a call back. I explained that I HAD paid the bill as soon as I recognized that it was a billing not covered by insurance. I thought the person on the other end acknowledged that. I assumed that would take care of the issue but this is still listed on my report as open- as though I did not take care of the obligation. The original bill was from ***** Hospital in ********* for $95 - They received payment and indicate that there is no debt. So I would at the very least like to have MEDICAL BUSINESS BUREAU list it as closed as of 2011-

Desired Settlement: I simply want this to NOT be listed as an open item in collections since it is not. This nonexistent debt has been used by one of my creditors to place me in an extremely high interest rate- We are paying it down in spite of that, but this incorrect listing has literally cost me thousands- so I just want the credit report to accurately reflect my status.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/08/05) */ Medical Business Bureau is no longer handling this account and it was cancelled back to ***** Hospital. The account was sent to the credit bureaus to be deleted May 13, 2012. We will need a copy of the credit report to obtain further information. You can fax it to ************ or mail it to P.O Box ******************* 60068.

Complaint: They acknowledge fact that debt is paid by June 3. Now over 60 days and still nothing on credit reports. This company is rude on the phone to deal with and it does not surprise me that they did nothing to correct a wrong situation. They have stated it takes 30 days and now we are over 60. I know this is an old complaint but they still have not followed through on their committment

Desired Settlement: report to credit agencies

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/08/05) */ Medical Business Bureau requested from the credit reporting agencies that the account be deleted June 17, 2014 and again on July 13, 2014. If the acct has not been deleted the consumer will need to dispute this with the credit bureau that is still reporting it.

Complaint: I am currently applying to rent an apt. But after the landlord ran my credit checking from ********. It reports I have $283 medical bill from MBB and the account # is xxxxx******* and the bill is dated back to 2012. I have never been involved in any medical activities in past 2 years. Not even purchasing the OTC medicine. I do not recall/know any medical bills. And I tried to contact MBB and been re-directed to a call center in India. They claimed they could not find any records under my name/my social security or the account simply does not match my DOB/name/address.

Desired Settlement: 1. Provide me a physical and electronic version of proof that this account is not associated with my name and my social security; 2. Inform ******** that this records should not be shown in my report. It is a mistake.

Complaint: In reference to acct #: XXXXXXXXXXXXXX On the afternoon of 6/12/14 I called MBB and spoke with ******* (extension ****** regarding my account. I asked if it was possible to have the collection removed from my account if I paid in full over the phone. He put me on hold and came back saying that they would removed it from my credit reports if I paid by card that day. I proceeded to pay the full amount of $52.70. ******* stated that the collections would be removed from my credit by that Sunday the 15th. It was not removed. I called back on 7/2/14 and spoke with a different representative about this issue and he assured me that they would be removed the following Sunday the 6th. They again, have not been removed. As of today, the balances for the collections show as $0.00 on my report but are still listed as unpaid. I was informed that both of my phone calls were recorded so MBB should have record of the verbal agreement for a removal. I have disputed the account with the three credit bureaus and provided copies of the proof of payment from my bank statement.

Desired Settlement: I want the collection removed from all three reports. Not a $0 balance, not just marked as paid. I want it completely removed as agreed upon by MBB representative *******.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/07/08) */ We have sent a request to the credit bureaus on July 6, 2014 for the account to be deleted from the consumer's credit file. Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 9, 2014/07/12) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) They're attempting to do what I want, but the collection has since been re-added to my credit report. The credit bureau told me that MBB requested that it be added as paid/closed on 7/11/14 after they had previously deleted it. Final Business Response /* (4000, 26, 2014/07/22) */ We have requested that they be deleted electronically We are reporting the account over & over again. Final Consumer Response /* (3000, 15, 2014/07/21) */ ******* told me that in order to verify the debt deletion by phone, they need someone from MBB to call them at ************ (press 3 to speak with a representative). I called XXX-XXX-XXXX with this information and ****** told me that they will not call ******** They have "already done their part by requesting that it be removed last month and they won't do any more". ******* does not have a removal request on file from MBB, only a request to mark the account as paid. MBB suggested that I call ******* and initiate a 3-way call to verify the deletion over the phone. ******* said they are only able to accept verficiation if MBB calls that number or if they receive a deletion request electronically in response to my filed dispute.Even if I initiated a 3-way call myself, they wouldn't be able to delete the collection. According to *******, MBB replied to my last dispute on 7/14/15 verifying that the account belonged to me and should be marked as paid. Somehow the account isn't being marked for deletion by MBB. I think I've spoken with just about every rep at MBB and none of them care about this issue. ******* is only going off of what they're being told by MBB. I haven't received a response from MBB regarding this in weeks. I need help with this from someone! I want to be contacted by someone at MBB!

Complaint: I called phone numbers as listed on the BBB website and the company's website. All went to voice mail with the promise of a return call. No calls were ever returned. The reason for my calls were to find out how to fix 3 collections reported to the credit bureaus in error. ****** Medical was the source of the problem. They used incorrect insurance info, address, and phone number then turned over the charges to MMB when they didn't get paid right away. Once I become aware they had made these mistakes, I called ****** and gave them the correct insurance info. The claims were 100% paid by insurance within 4 weeks of that date (less than 3 months from original charges). ****** says MMB reported these to the credit bureaus too quickly, agrees they need removing, and is trying to help get the reports reversed. MMB could help expedite the process but they won't return my calls. ****** tells me MMB won't return their calls either. The account number listed on my credit report is XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. Bottom line: my credit score has taken a big hit through no fault of my own and MMB simply won't return phone calls.

Desired Settlement: Remove these incorrect collections from all credit bureau databases so that my credit score returns to previous level.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/07/28) */ The consumer has 3 accounts that were placed with Medical Business Bureau 12/10/2013. We did not receive the payments until February 28, 2014. All accounts are reported to the credit bureaus after 60 days. The consumer did leave a message on our voicemail and when we tried to contact him the number was disconnected. We have requested that the accounts be deleted from the consumer's credit file. Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2014/07/28) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Before I accept the response, I would like to know when these accounts will actually be removed from the credit bureau files. Also, the accounts were 100% paid to ****** by the insurance company by 1/9/2014 as I have the EOBs to prove it. Obviously, I can't say when ****** settled with MBB. Additionally, I left my phone number twice on 2 different MBB voice mails. I have had the same phone number for 40 years and it has never been disconnected. Thanks to the Better Business Bureau for your help as it is the only thing that has produced results so far. Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2014/07/29) */ We have requested that the account be deleted. It is our understanding that it may take up to 30 days for the credit bureaus to delete the accounts. We have sent a letter to the consumer informing him that the accounts have been requested to be deleted.

Complaint: I was contacted in Aug 2013 by cell phone by Medical Business Bureau. They told me they had already reported negatively on my credit report as they had not been able to reach me. Complaint: I pulled my report in March and saw that this company was listed on my report. I called them to verify that I wasn't the person they were looking for. They searched their system using my name, address and even my social security number and did not find my information on there. They agreed that these charges weren't mine, and told me I should file a dispute with ********** so that they would remove it. I filed a dispute TWICE with ********** so far, and this company continues to report to them, and ********** has given me no resolution. This company is feeding them incorrect information, and I will sue them if this is not resolved. I'm trying to better my credit score, and this continues to appear on my report.

Desired Settlement: Removal from my credit report, and a statement accepting their billing negligence, so that I can have it as proof in case this appears on my report again.

Complaint: I have seen negative items reported on three credit bureau reports coming from "Medical Business Bureau." Upon calling and asking for proof of validity of the debt, Medical Business Bureau has repeatedly refused to send this information to me. They continue to state that "they sent it" but have no proof that they did and I still have not received anything. At one point, I called them and asked them if I just paid them the $100 that they ARE NOT owed if they would please remove the negative information off of my credit reports. They flat out refused and were extremely rude over the phone. There is another person with my same name who seems to have an issue paying their bills, and I suspect they do not have the correct person. Medical Business Bureau will not cooperate with me in sending me any type of proof of the debt and as a result, we are at an impasse. I am writing this complaint with the goal of resolving this matter.

Desired Settlement: Medical Business Bureau needs to remove these negative items off all three major credit bureau reports and to stop their attempts to collect on me.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/06/20) */ We have 4 accounts for ****** Emergency Physicians. The consumer may contact us to pay the accounts and they will then be deleted from her credit file. If the accts are not the consumer please send us a copy of a police report for identity theft. Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2014/06/23) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) 1. I still very strongly suspect that there was some type of clerical error on the original biller's end, because I never received any indication of debt owed from them, nor have I visited an emergency room within the stated timeframe. I have used other Good Samaritan doctors so I know they would have access to my insurance information. I also feel that my insurance should not have been charged. 2. Even if I was to pay this company money I DO NOT OWE to be done with this nightmare and restore my good name, their response does not indicate total amount owed and doesn't even make sense. Please refrain from using shorthand and please clearly display how you are calculating these said charges. Medical Business Bureau continues to give me half answers and refuses to provide me with true details that would assist in sorting this matter out. I cannot in good faith contact them to assist in this matter any further, every other attempt has been futile and has left me frustrated and feeling abused as a consumer. They have gone so far as to threaten me on these calls and I will not engage in that type of behavior. As such, MBB needs to write off this debt on their end and remove the negative reports to all three major credit bureaus. Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2014/06/26) */ We have cancelled the accounts and requested that they be removed from the consumer's credit file. Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 11, 2014/06/26) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) Thank you, please be sure to remove the negative information from all three bureaus. Can you please share what the timeline is for me to see the items removed?

Complaint: I pulled my credit report to see where I stood as I am trying to purchase a home. I noticed this company has a listing under "negative items" on my credit report. It is for a $0 balance. I called them and gave account number SRAHPSXXXXXX. I spoke with ******** ******** who informed me a bill was sent to collections and was not paid by December 3rd. Therefore it went on my credit report. I explained to ******** that I was in a not-at-fault accident on March 20, 2013. I went to ******** **** Surgical Center (Emergency Department) for medical care that day. The hospital did some imaging on me. I was not aware they use an outside company ******** Radiology Associates) for imaging. I did not go to that place so I did not know that's who was used. I obtained an attorney sometime around April or May because the insurance company was getting impatient with me and wanted to settle quickly. I needed further medical care. My account was finally settled in December. All medical bills were paid in full by December 31,2013. They were all sent out by my attorney. Over the course of the months between May and December, I had contacted ******** **** several different times to make sure they were aware of the situation and to please not send my bills to collections. They were very nice and assured me they would not. However, I was not informed that ******* Radiology Associates did. Upon talking to ********* I asked him in light of this, to see if he could get authorization to remove this from my credit reports. He talked with his supervisor, ***** ********* and I was told there was nothing I could do. He said if I would have paid the bill no later than December 3rd, it would not have been listed. I explained that I did not know my bill had been sent to collections. He said a letter was mailed to me on 10/4/2013. I can assure you that, although he said he mailed it to my current address, I did not receive it. ALL medical bills at that time were being sent by me to my attorney. I guarantee you that was not received. I am very disappointed as this is negatively affecting my credit and I was in no way at fault for this. The bill was paid, as promised, but they refuse to budge. ******** then told me I should have taken this up with the ******** **** because they are the ones that lied to me. I assume it was probably more of a miscommunication, but either way, my hands were tied. I was not informed of this bill beforehand, and by the time I knew about it, it was already paid and reported. I would really like Medical Business Bureau to remove this from my account as all the details of my explanation can be verified through attorney records. I tried to resolve this over the phone with the company but they would hear nothing of it. I'm sure it's recorded. I also tried disputing it on my credit reports and MBB disagreed with my disputes per the credit reporting agencies. So they could not remove it. I am not disputing the bill or the balance. I am simply disputing knowing about this until it was too late. So my only other option is to try to resolve this through the BBB in hopes that MBB will find it relevant to delete from my reports.

Desired Settlement: I just want this to disappear from my credit report.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/05/27) */ We will request that the account be deleted from the consumer's credit file.

Complaint: I have this collection for ******** hospital from 2008/2009. I don't see why because I've always had the medical card. Complaint: I had surgery done for service connected injuries. I was not supposed to pay out of pocket, and was told that my insurance would cover all of my costs. I initially received a bill for over $4,000.00 and was told by the hospital to disregard and not pay any bills. I was ultimately sent to collections for three different items, all under a $100.00. Account numbers: PXXXXXXX-X, PXXXXXXX-X and PXXXXXXX-X. I contacted MBB and explained my situation, I was told since it was my surgery that it was my responsibility to pay. I ultimately decided to pay because I did not want to owe anyone $. I specifically asked if I paid this in full if it would be removed from my credit report. I feel that they are using deceptive practices to collect from individuals when they are not meeting their end of the bargain. They did report that the account was paid in full, but failed to remove all three accounts which is what we had agreed to. I would never have paid them in full if I knew they would keep reporting as delinquent, and as three separate items. It is highly affecting my credit score and I don"t feel that is fair. My wife recently contacted them to no avail. All that was offered was a letter stating the account was paid in full and they are still refusing to remove the accounts as 60 days past due. If customers are paying the amount in full, and you promise to remove ALL negative information, MBB should follow through.

Desired Settlement: I would like for MBB to acknowledge that I met the end of our agreement by paying all three accounts in full. I did not take a settlement or let the account go without paying. MBB should now meet their original agreement and remove all negative information from my credit report as this is severely affecting my credit, especially since they are being listed as three separate items.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/05/15) */ Medical Business Bureau does not delete accounts from the consumer's credit just because they pay it. We are not allowed to do this according to our contract with the credit bureaus. We will request that these accounts be deleted as a courtesy. Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2014/05/15) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) Thank you for requesting their removal. If this is something that MBB doesn't do, it should make sure that this is something their employees aren't offering. I was repeatedly told that they would be deleted

Complaint: I had an emergency room bill that was sent to an old address despite me telling the hospital my correct address. No one compared the old address to my insurance or called me asking why I wasn't making payments so me account was sold to this company. I saw it con my credit report and contacted them. I never received anything in the mail or any phone calls from them until I called them. They are not willing to send me any proof that I owe anything in the mail and are only wanting the $412 in full which I have nothing to show why I owe this company this much. I need proof or documentation as to why I owe this company. They just stuck a mark on my credit report and never bothered sending me anything or calling me.

Desired Settlement: I want something in writing from your company stating what I owe for my records and also a simple payment plan. I live alone and will never be able to afford all of this at once but I do want to pay it off. I am willing to pay as much as $100 a month and would have paid in already had I been given this option or even received the bills from the hospital. The company would benefit from taking partial payments as I am willing to let this sit on my report and not let them have any money if they are not willing to work with me just a little. They would make more money by accepting at least 25% payments.

Complaint: I PHONED THE AGENCY TO PAY A BILL THAT WAS REPORTED DELIQUENT ON MY CREDIT REPORT. I NEVER RECEIVED ANY INFORMATION REGARDING THE BILL GOING TO COLLECTIONS IN THE MAIL. I HAD ACTUALLY JUST STARTED MAILING MONTHLY PAYMENTS OF $100, WHICH WERE CASHED, FEB. 2014, AND MARCH 2014 TO KANE ANESTHESIA ASSOCIATION. I SENT A LETTER DATED JANUARY 27 WITH THE FIRST PAYMENT TO **** ********** EXPLAINING MY INTENT TO MAKE MONTHLY PAYMENTS AS I HAD FINALLY RESOLVED WITH MY INSURANCE COMPANY THE AMOUNT OF MY FINANCIAL OBLIGATION. I REALIZED ONLY AFTER SEEING THE DELIQUENT REPORT ON MY ANNUAL CREDIT REPORT FOR THE MEDICAL BILL FOR THE EMERGENCY APENDECTOMY THAT THE BILL WAS IN COLLECTIONS. WHEN I CALLED THE MEDICAL BUSINESS BUREAU I WAS IMMEDIATELY ASKED BY THE OVERSEES CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENATIVE MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, WHICH IS WAY TOO INTRUSIVE. WHERE AND HOW DID THE COLLECTION AGENCY GET MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER? THEN I WAS EXPECTED TO PAY OVER THE PHONE BUT WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD NOT RECIEVE A RECEIPT FOR MY PAYMENT. I WAS TOLD BY AN OVERSEES CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE THAT HE WOULD "TRY" TO GET ME A RECEIPT OR A LETTER CONFIRMING THE RECEIPT OF MY PAYMENT BY TOMORROW. THE MEDICAL BUSINESS BUREAU'S WEBSITE TOUTS ITS CUSTOMER SERVICE EXCELLENCE. WELL, WHY THEN WAS I NOT INFORMED IN WRITING THAT MY BILL WAS IN COLLECTIONS? TO DO SOMETHING SO DAMAGING TO MY CREDIT REPORT AND SUBSEQUENT CREDIT SCORE WITHOUT INFORMING ME AND WITHOUT PROVIDING A WAY FOR ME TO PAY THE BILL IS UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTICE AND SHOULD BE ILLEGAL IF IT IS NOT ALREADY. I FEEL THE ENTIRE SITUATION WAS UNDERHANDED AND IS AN EXAMPLE OF DECEITFUL PRACTICE AND GREED BY KANE ANESTHESIA AND BY THE MEDICAL BUSINESS BUREAU. I DO NOT TRUST A COMPANY THAT SWOOPS DOWN PREMATURELY AND BLINDSIDES PEOPLE WITH MEDICAL BILLS TO SEND ME A RECEIPT "MAYBE" AT ANOTHER TIME. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE REQUESTING MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION REFUSED TO GIVE ME A WRITTEN ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF PAYMENT UPON RECEIPT OF PAYMENT. Product_Or_Service: EMERGENCY APPENDECTOMY

Complaint: Last August (2013) I pulled my credit report and found out to my surprise that I had a collection against me from MBB. I had received no known notification from them concerning this, so I started checking on the details. It was supposedly from a medical bill from 1-24 thru 1-26 2012 in ***** **** **** thru ***** Hospital for a company called *********** I had received no bill from them for the services they supposedly performed and in checking with hospital records, insurance and them I was told this had been taken care of and would be removed from collections. He panicked and ran, when entered my property they entered through the back they hit him and in front of my wife. They pushed and cussed at her. When they off my property they called an ambulance. They called the ambulance, I didn't. The ambulance took him to the hospital but the ambulance parked about a block away from my house (see complaint online). **

Desired Settlement: My grandson's name is ************************* and he is not a dependent of ours. The only thing that I want is for then sto stop billing me for something that I do not owe.

Complaint: Date of service:03/31/2012 Facility: ******** ******** Hospital ER. Account number EXXXXXXXXXXX I obtained services in the ER at ******** Memorial Hospital. I did not have health insurance at the time, and I was also a full time student. I immediately filed for financial assistance and got the bill paid, 100%. *** sent the letter verifying my balance was $0 to the wrong address, so there was no way for me to send that to the ***, as I was totally unaware of the letter itself. I looked on my credit report and noticed the outstanding debt of $973.00. I called the *** and spoke to an agent named *****. ***** told me it is impossible that financial assistance covers doctors fees. I ensured him that I had a zero balance. He argued with me assured me that I was wrong. He told me to get a letter from the hospital stating that I had full financial assistance including the doctors fees, which I did. I faxed and mailed this to him. This was not good enough. He then wanted me to call Emergency Medical Services to verify if the physicians portion of the bill was covered also. Indeed it was. I informed of this and he again told me this was impossible. After getting so upset with ***** and his inability to work through this problem with me in a respectful and professional manner, I asked to speak to a supervisor. She was polite and positive. She requested the number *** gave me to call which was EM to verify that the MD portion was indeed covered. She told me she would investigate the matter further and then get right back to me. As of now, I have not heard back from her. ***** was short and kept repeating the same thing he told me over and over. He did not listen to me whatsoever. I told him the balance was $0. Confirmed by *** and ***. He still was adamant that I was wrong. To attempt to gain some form of progress, I asked him to provide me with this "physicians" bill that I supposedly owe; we was unable to generate a document that he could send me. All he said was the bill was $973.00 Which is the entire ER visit bill amount. He demanded I settle this debt immediately. I felt berated and enraged because this was now the tenth time I told him this bill was taken care of by financial assistance. Honestly it was like talking to a robot that repeated the exact same thing over and over. He was in no position to offer me any way to get this mix-up straightened out. All he was interested in was receiving payment of $973.00, which has already been paid. I do not know why he is requesting additional monies from me. I feel he is attempting to defraud me by agreeing to pay this amount. Which I have, in written proof, say I do not owe. He was the worst customer service agent I have ever worked with in my life. I got off the phone in tears because I was so frustrated with his unwillingness to help me resolve this matter. Again, all he wanted was the $973.00 It was like talking to a brick wall, as if he could not understand what I was saying. It was truly awful. He also stated he mailed out numerous letters asking about the debt; none of which I received. He said he called me numerous times. He called me once in August of 2013 asking about the debt, even at that time I told him that the bill was paid through financial assistance. Meanwhile this outstanding debt is sitting on my credit report. I take great pride in being financially responsible, but to have an error made by someone else effect my credit and financial stability, is unacceptable. I feel the negative credit ratings I have accrued due to this error should be backdated off my credit report to the date of payment.

Desired Settlement: I want the**** to rectify the mistake they made and repair the damage they have inflicted on my credit report. I want them to back date to the original payment date. I feel this is appropriate as they have caused me undue harm. And to make myself whole again, this only seems fair and legally appropriate.

Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2013/12/09) */ Medical Business Bureau has sent the information we received from the consumer to our client; however we have not gotten a response yet. Also the information sent to us shows that the consumer was approved for the hospital portion only and does NOT cover the doctors bills. The account we have is for the emergency room physicians charge not the hospital.

Complaint: *** has never contacted me by phone or email. On August 30, 2013 they put a collection on all 3 of my credit reports stating I owe *************** Medical Center $697 from January 16, 2013. I do not owe ****. *** nor **** has EVER contacted me about a bill. Except to request film copies of tests, I was not at **** in 2013. When requesting film copies, why didn't **** advise me and talk to me about paying them if I owed them? There was a time when I did go to ****, however it was only for a Worker's Comp issue and ALL bills were paid by Worker's Comp. I have a copy of my Worker's Comp attorney's file that contains a copy of ALL bills paid by Worker's Comp to ****. As well, I have a copy of ALL my EOB's (explanation of benefits) from **** beginning with January 2011. So when I say I do not owe ****, I know what I am talking about and do not have to go searching documents. As forestated, during 2013 I had occasion to request medical film records from **** (in person) twice and they have NEVER told me or showed me then or since that I had an outstanding bill with them. I want this deleted from ALL 3 of my credit bureau reports because I do NOT owe **** any money AND this debt was illegally and unethically put on my 3 credit reports by *** without contacting me for inquiry first.

Complaint: This is complaint is in regards to an account with *********************** (******************, *******************), account #****** with my husband ************. My name is *************, his wife and representative. In March of 2007 in ********* an individual went to emergency room creating a bill of $707. This was reported on my husband's credit as a delinquent/negative. When we discovered the mistake in 2010, we contacted *** to dispute the report. Over the course of 18 months, I spoke with numerous representatives and faxed in all the requested information proving this falicy of thie reporting. Finally, on August 1st 2013 I was assured by a representative that the bill had been erased from the system. My biggest complaint is that when I asked for some sort of letter or written document confirming this action be sent to me, I was told it was not in their policy. I was informed that if I wanted to verify that the account had been removed, I needed to re-run my husband's credit. This, in my opinion, is poor customer service, as a re-running of his credit scores, only lowers his scores further. This only further punishes the wrongly accused "customer" after 2 years of bearing the burden of proof. However, seeing a brick wall, I accepted the explaination and did as instructed. When the credit was run again on August 28th, the reporting was still there. When I contacted ***, again, I was told they had erased the reporting but again refused to send me any documetation; I could only count on their word. They said I needed to contact the credit bureaus, not them. When I informed them that the credit bureaus required written documentation of ***'s action, I was told again, it is not in their policy. The representative did ask me to fax in a copy of the credit report because they needed written documentation of my complaint. Even if *** does take final action on this complaint, I will have to run a third report, further lowing his scores, due to poor policy practices of this particular company. My complaint is not with the wrong reporting, but rather with ***'s policy of not providing written proof documenting their actions for requesting customers. I would like for them to not only provide me with written documentation, but change this policy so that future customers do not have to go through this frustration.

Desired Settlement: I would like *********************** to provide written documentation of their removal of the negative credit reporting on ************.

Business Response: Business' Initial Response /* (1000, 5, 2013/08/29) */ The consumer is being sent a letter informing her that we have requested that the acct be deleted from her husbands credit file. Consumer's Final Response /* (2000, 7, 2013/08/29) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) I will gladly accept a this letter and continue the process of removing this error from my husband's account by forwarding the letter on to the three major credit bureaus. I do appreciate the quick response and am grateful to BBB for their intervention to a seemly dead end. However, if the promised letter does not arrive in a timely manner or is not satisfactory, I will reopen my complaint. Thank you.

Complaint: I have requested information on this bill because I never received the initial bill, I also sent a copy of police report and irs report confirming that my identity had been stolen. Mail has been going to erroneous addresses and I have yet to receive any information from this creditor to help me resolve this issue. I cant believe that I have a collection account on my credit for $68.00 when I pay all medical bills that I have outstanding at time of service.

Desired Settlement: I would like to have this account removed. I will gladly pay account in full, it is such a small amount. I can't imagine why someone would purposely avoid paying this when the effects on your credit are devastating. I have had to dispute numerous accounts and have sent letters with no response to MBB.

Business Response: Business' Initial Response /* (1000, 5, 2013/08/26) */ The account has been cancelled and the account has been requested to be deleted from the consumers credit file. Consumer's Final Response /* (2000, 7, 2013/08/26) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) I appreciate all your help.
