Date: 12/16/2022 My mother and I both went to Mikels Hair Salon for our appointment. This is ONE week before my wedding. When I show ***** the color I want on my hair, he first says he can do it but the exact color will not show because my hair is black. He says that my hair might be a little damaged and I will have to take good care of it afterwards. But then he says, I will have to do a treatment for $400, and then hair color for another $400. I looked to my mom and said, no thats too much I dont want to do it. He then flipped a switch and said, you know what, I can do balayage for $400. So i say, okay, lets do it, as anyone with no experience in professional hair care would. He then puts foils in my hair to bleach my hair. While I am getting my hair bleached, my mom is in the next chair also getting her hair done. I then touch my foil because my head feels hot. I turned to the girl (****) doing my moms hair and i say is it supposed to be hot? she then in a worried **** says its hot?. she calls ***** and i run to the sink because within those ************************************************************ my entire life. i am screaming to take the foils off and they are both removing it slowly. at this point i wanted to rip all of my hair out of my head. it felt like someone poured gasoline on my head and set it on fire. At this time, i had no idea my hair was destroyed. i was laying with my head in the sink, crying, shaking, feeling nauseous. she washed my hair for 10 minutes. it was still burning. i got up and said i cant be here i need to leave and when i grabbed my coat and looked in the mirror. I see all of my hair falling out. I started panicking and crying and I look at ***** with my hair in my hands and he says the exact words go cry at home. I went to urgent care and found out that my first layer of skin on my scalp was burnt. I was prescribed steroids. I am in incredible amounts of pain and not only that, but my mom has several red scabs too.
