Complaint: My car (2014 Chevy Camaro 2LS) was involved in a car accident in late December. The other driver was completely at fault and her/his insurance agreed to cover the costs of repair to the body and rear wheel (damage was to passenger door, passenger side quarter panel and wheel). Car was handed over to Jennings Chevy Body Shop of Glenview for repairs where it remained for two weeks. I was called to pick up car after two weeks and it turned out it still had visible warping and damage to the wheel wheel and quarter panel. Did not pick up car and avoided signing any documents or checks even thought they wanted me to do such before even seeing the car. Was told car must have been repaired previously and that's why the THEIR repair job was improper. Several days later I was told the car has been repaired to my satisfaction with two of the lines and one dent being smoothed out. After signing the docs and I went over and examined the vehicle. A sizable grove was still visible in the wheel-wheel and the panel lines were visibly not there. I refused to pick up the car and was told they would attempt third time. The insurance of the person/persons responsible for hitting me refused to cover any further costs to repair, referring me to the body shop for all liabilities.

Desired Settlement: Either proper repair or payout in the amount of $750 which what I was quoted by a ******** **** ****** of Chicago upon viewing the photographs of what it would cost to repair or correct the improper and inadequate repairs.
