I took my car for an oil change on August 18, 2022 and asked them to check for the muffler noise. they said the exhaust pipe was cracked and had to order the part. They charged me for the part and the labor plus 7.5% shop supply, totaling $245.00, upfront. After six weeks and calling them several times, I was told that the part has been in but was under a wrong name!! I finally set up an appointment and take the car for repair. This time the service advisor showed me that the pipe next to the damaged pipe also needed a replacement. Apparently the bracket holding the two pipes had made a hole into them. He said that the part would cost an additional $1700.00. I told him that this is a factory design flaw and declined the repair work. I asked for refund, but they only refunded for the part, not for labor, tax or shop supplies. After a string of emails, the service advisor asked for my payment information, to credit the account, instead they charge my card an additional $110.38 on October 19th. Since then, I have been Trying to contact the service manager about the credit, but he has not answered my phone call or emails. I took the car to a reputable muffler shop and had it fixed for $230.00
