Complaint Category: Repairs resulted in additional damage

Complaint: On X-XX-XX I took my car to auto pro collision,to repair my left driver door, But when I picked up
my car on XX-XX-XX the door, alarm and my key with
alarm control was not working. I was informed the owner he stated that it was not working when I bought it in, which was not true,so I call state farm to put a stop on the check they said they could not do that

MS. ******* BROUGHT HER 2005 HONDA ACCORD WITH 111,090 MILES IN FOR LT. FRONT DOOR REPLACEMENT.
***** **** PAID FOR A USED LT. FRONT DOOR AND PAINTING. FOR FREE, WE REPAIRED AND PAINTED THE HEAVY RUST ON THE LT. REAR QUARTER PANAL. WHILE THE CAR WAS IN THE SHOP, MS. ******* LOCKED THE KEYS IN THE CAR DISCHARGING THE BATTERY AND RESETTING THE ALARM SYSTEM. AFTER. REPAIRED, MS ******* STATE FIRST THAT THE ELECTICAL SYSTEM WAS WORKING, BUT LATER TOLD US THAT THE WINDOWS And LOCKS HAD NOT WORKED FOR ONE YEAR BEFORE OUR REPAIR. ALSO, MS. ******* FINALLY TOLD US THAT THE CAR HAD BE REPAIRED BY TWO OTHER SHOPS, AND THEY DID NOT REPAIR THE WIRING.

ALL WE DID WAS PUT A USED DOOR ON MS.********* CAR. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL HER OTHER ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS.

MS. ******* TOOK THE CAR BACK OVER TO ***** **** FOR A RE-INSPECT AND THEY TOLD HER THAT AUTOPRO DID JUST WHAT THEY WERE PAID FOR (EVEN MORE) AND ***** **** WOULD NOT PAY ANY MORE FOR PAST REPAIRS BY ANOTHER SHOP

ASK MS. ******* ABOUT THE PAST FRONT END CRASHES, WINDOWS NOT WORKING, AND HOW THE LT. FRONT DOOR (WE REPLACED) IS THE ONLY WINDOW AND LOCK WORKING ON THE CAR. WE ARE NOT RESPONDIBLE FOR THE REST OF THE CAR. EVEN STATE FARM INSURANCE AGREEES WITH US.

WE ALSO HAVE PHOTOS OF BEFORE AND AFTER DOOR REPAIR.

Yes it was suppose to have been only the lt driver door job
only .I have the original estimates to prove that, but when,1st
he said their was heavy rusting which was not the truth like I
said the door autopro purchased the switch was not working,which that is why I took my car back the same day
also the speaker didn't work,but he didn't bother to transfer
. my speaker from my door,yes I closed the door, my keys
were locked inside my car I asked if he could get the keys
out he said yes, I live 5 mins from autopro, I could have went
home and got the spare key.back to the bad switch the wires
were bad as well,my alarm was not working when I re'cd my
car back. My remote control key didn't work, when I asked
what happen to my key *** first said it was my battery to
my key, aftr noticing my key had been stripped or forced
open,Like I said I haven't conmunicated since late October
so may he has me mixed up with somebody else. I have all
documents to support

WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR RECEIPTS FROM ************ HONDA AND ***** **** INSUANCE.. OUR QUESTION TO MS ******* IS "IF ***** **** PAIDED AND ADDITIONAL 2000.00 BECAUSE OF MS. ******** THREE ACCIDENTS, WHY IS SHE TRYING TO GET MORE MONEY OUT OF AUTOPRO. WE DID NOT CAUSE THE COLLISIONS. IF ***** **** WANTED THERE DEDUCTIBLE BACK, THEY WOULD HAVE CONTACTED US. ***** **** INSURANCE PAID US TO PUT A USED LT. FRONT DOOR ON HER CAR AND PAINT IT. NOTHING MORE. IF THE WIRES WERE PINCHED, IT WAS PART OF THE ACCIDENT. MS. ******* ARGUEMENT IS WITH THE PEOPLE THAT RAN INTO HER AND/OR ***** **** INSURANCE. WE DID NOT CAUSE THE ACCIDENTS.
