I had reached out to Peck Ritchey, LLC for legal counsel on my complex guardianship case for my adult son early in 2021. I had reached out due to their renown reputation for guardianship proceedings. I was assigned *********************** and a Jr. ********** however from the beginning there were many errors made from when the original filing was made, to the decision to cease to represent me less than 4 weeks from trail. While Peck Ritchey, LLC did give me a 10K write off at the end of the contract term, they had charged be over 60K for not taking me to trail and also for not being able to negotiate anything on my behalf. I am seeking an apology from the firm for their way of handling the case AND reimbursement for at least half of the cost. They wasted over 10 months, did not do any investigation with the other party, did not support my desire to be guardian. It is my belief *********************** was not acting in my best interest nor that of ***. I found out that he has a GAL relationship with the Judge on other cases, which is a conflict of interest.
