I’ve been living in this townhouse managed by Gilbert Real Estate for about 7 years. I’ve had so many issues, worse being the plumbing. 4 houses are connected so one typically affects the other. I had an issue about 4 years ago where feces was backing up into my bathroom and overflowing from the toilet. At that time they didn’t have an emergency line so I had to use all of my bath towels to soak up water before I could get someone out the next day. The same thing started again with water coming from under the base of the toilet. I called in and reported it and they told me to turn the water off from the back of the toilet which I did. As my neighbor uses their facilities and my children as well, it started to pour water from under the toliet bowl and now push feces up into my bathtub and again I’m having to use my bath towels to soak up sewage water. I called again today 2/15/24 and was told by the owner before I could get it out, “well you called yesterday and it was put in our system.” I then told her that I now have feces in my tub and she said the work order was picked up and someone should be by this morning. Around 2pm I called again to see if they could please get someone out. Around 4 someone came just to tell me that he didn’t have the tools but he would let Gilbert real estate know. The owner called me saying that it wouldn’t be until tomorrow before someone could come out. I said well if you didn’t cut me off this morning when I was telling you what was happening then maybe someone could have been out sooner. I proceeded to tell her that I have used all of my bath towels to soak up sewage water and my children and I are now having to breath it in. Her only response after that was, “well he’s running a day behind so that all I was calling to tell you.” Something has to be done about these people. They have no urgency to take care of issues as serious as sewage backups. It’s so unhealthy at this point and we have to wait another day before something is done
