Poor workmanship.
Column surface pealing.
Outside brickwork never finished.
No gutters ever installed.
Hardwood floor buckling in two areas.
Crack in outside cement apron on a/c of no expansion joint in large area.
Reinstalled range vent is useless.
Never received promised full set of blueprints.

Desired Settlement
We are asking that all unfinished work be completed and defects corrected.

Complaint
Not performing duties paid for.
We hired the company to do work on our house back in May. They took measurements, created a plan, had us sign a contract, and set up a loan for us through ***** *** for $40,000. We have been paying on that loan since May. They did one of the smaller jobs for us almost immediately, the second smaller job they have performed took multiple phone calls to reach them to come do it, and they have not even started the large job we hired them for. We have not heard from them since August and they are not returning our phone calls. We are still paying on this loan; which is a substantial amount to be paying for work that is not being done.

Desired Settlement
We would like them to either come and finish the job they have already been paid for, immediately, or we want to opt out of the contract with a full refund including the interest on the loan.

We spoke to customer in January 2016 and put the work order back into production and we started the job on 1/27/2016. We hope to be complete by third week in February. Customer is happy with our progress so far to this point.

Overpriced for the quality. Installation is far from "professional". No reply to correspondence sent to Mr. ***** w/cc to Professional Homes.
My complaint is with installation of sun room. My biggest complaint was with a window not closing/locking properly. I told them it needed to be adjusted and was told "it can't be fixed". there is also a 2nd. window with same problem. They were told about 2 leaks & today a 3rd. occurred. Door is bent & not installed square. One inside corner not fastened properly. Inside/outside corner trim put on over screws holding sides and not fitting flush as they should. It is just a poorly installed product. They advertise as "highly experienced" installers but the finished product sure doesn't reflect that. They are way overpriced for the quality of the work performed. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The only interest this company has is money, not concerned with customer at all. Once they get their money they don't know you. If this was a $10K installation some things could possibly be overlooked but for over $20K for a 12' X 12" sun room it should be darn near perfect. I sent letter to Mr. ***** ***** & copy to Professional Homes on May 8, 2015 and as of this date have had no response from either one.

Desired Settlement
I am requesting the refund of $2500 deposit & $3448 due before installation would begin, for a total of $5,948. I believe this is a fair settlement for a sun room that "can't be fixed".

****** ******** went by and flashed the roof of the product with their roof to repair the leak. The customer's house does not have felt paper under the shingles on their roof, and that is not a part of our roof system. We advised him of this. We advised the customer that the windows are within variance and that they do close and lock. ****** explained to him due to the vinyl and aluminum with expansion and contraction due to the weather that as long as they lock they are good and within tolerance variance. No refund is warranted or needed.

Mr. ******** did come back & put flashing on he roof as it should have been done originally. At that time I noticed no felt paper. I know they have nothing to do with that. Mr. ******** did not explain "variance" to me. He said he didn't really understand it, ***** would have to explain it to me. *********** did not address the issue of the poor installation quality. I guess in his mind, if it doesn't fall down, all is good. When you advertise as "professionals" & claim to have "highly experienced installers" you expect the finished installation to look professional, not like a couple of school kids did it. I would like to invite Mr. ******** to our house & will gladly show him what I'm talking about. I do have photos also.
I would never recommend this company to anyone. They charge 1st rate prices for 3rd rate quality. The main reason for not recommending them is the way they treat their customers. They have refused to reply to our phone calls & letters. Mr. ***** didn't even have the decency to pick up the certified letter I sent to him & it has been returned to me. Most reputable companies accept feedback, whether complements or complaints, to improve the quality of their business.
I am still seeking refund due to the poor quality of the installation & for the lack of respect from this company by refusing to respond to phone calls & letters.
