Complaint Fixed the TV that would not turn on. In process of fixing it a red line showed up from the top of the screen to the bottom. On 2/8/2014 took a 55" plasma vizio TV to them to get repaired. The TV would not come on. I paid them $50 when I dropped it off and they told me that they would call with an estimate of fixing it. They called a few days later and I gave them the ok to fix it for $285 minus the $50 already paid. I went to pick up the TV on 2/15/2014. When I got there had them plug the TV up so that I could see if it did work or not. The TV came on but there was a red line from the top of the screen to the bottom of the screen. I told the guy that that was not there before the TV would just not come on. He said he would get a tech to look at it on Monday. I did not hear from them until I called on 2/24/2014 aqnd was told there was nothing they could do for the TV and I asked how did the line get there and he said he would talk to his tech and call me right back. Today is 3/4/2014 and I have not heard from them since.
Desired Settlement I think they messed up the panel inside when they were fixing the power supply. That is the only thing that would have caused the red line on the screen.
Business Response We have researched this situation in regards to the issues at hand and are working on resolving the situation. We will do everything in our abilities to get the tv set in good working order and the repair balance will be the same as quoted - there will be no additional charges to the customer.
Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Only if the TV is fixed to my satisfaction. I still have not heard from this company. They have made no efforts to contact me about my TV. Seems that if they were a good business I would not have to get the BBB involved in this matter. Very poor communication with their customers.
Final Business Response talked to customer recently- working torward resolution.
Final Consumer Response They have called me and I was told to give them a week to try and resolve this matter. It has been over a week and no communication with them.
Complaint Won't fix my TV. Left a $50 deposit. They have had T.V since NOV . Won't return calls! I have to go by there for any answers. STILL NO RESPONSE!! Dropped off the T.V on Nov 14 2013. Left a $50 deposit for diagnosis. They called and said it would be $250.00 to repair. We declined and said we would come get the set. Then on Jan 6th he called back and said they could now do it for $150.00, that they had found a new supplier. We said go ahead with the repair. We called back to see if it was ready and he stated then that he now couldn't do the repair it would be to much. Since that time they have NOT responded! We have called numerous time with NO call backs, and stopped by at least 4-5 times with NO call backs. I left a message today March 18th that if I did not hear from him by the close of business that I would file a small claims case to have my set returned.
Desired Settlement Simple. I WANT MY SET RETURNED TO ME ASAP !!!!! And do to the very poor quality of service and the "mis-quote I feel my $50 should also be refunded!!
Business Response talked to customer- advised customer that the set was together and could be picked up at their earliest convenience.
Complaint Wouldn't fix my TV. Lost my $50 deposit Left it for two weeks. Wouldn't return calls. I had to go by there for any answers. Kept saying they'd fix it, wouldn't work on it. I was afraid they were going out of business so I finally just went and picked up my broken TV. Just needed a remote sensor in the set. Simple repair. Lost my $50 deposit too. Can't leave a message with the manager because his VM is always full.
Desired Settlement I want my $50 deposit back, they wouldn't work on my TV.

Talked to customer - was advised by customer they would bring set back in to shop. Please advise customer if the they paid the 50.00 estimate via card, our machine possibly was not working properly and they may have already been credited 50.00 charge if applicable. We are strongly focused on our customers' satisfaction as we have been since 1977 - and hope we can find a resolution in this situation.
