I need help. I received an approved ARC form to extend my driveway but was told the day the men were working in my yard to stop because they approved the wrong ****** put in my ARC on March 2 and it was approved March 28. On May ************************************************ to stop. They had from march 28 to May 9 to say it was an error but they waited until I paid and the men were already working. The community manager from William Douglas and the Gibbon Crossing HOA directors both stated they would not pay to have it removed. I need help please. I had it removed because they were charging me $100 fine and $25 a day until it removed. This is the first email notification from the community manager: Hi *******,I want to reach out and apologize for the misunderstanding, I approved your ARC by accident, thinking it was someone elses ARC.Would you please cease any work until ******* return on Monday so the Board can review? I will make sure your ARC is reviewed first thing to expedite this. Again, I apologize profusely for this and I will help fix in any way that I can. *****************************. They changed the community manager right after this happened to *****************************: May 10 is when the men started working and this was her response-Good morning,I have a meeting this morning and unsure of how long it will last. I understand that you have an approval letter, and while it is unfortunate that the accidental approval was not caught until the day before the concrete was poured, there still was a choice on your behalf to choose to proceed with the pouring of the concrete the day after you were informed that the ARC was not approved, instead of ensuring that the work stopped.The next step would be to cure the violation, if the violation is uncured the fines will continue to accrue. I unfortunately cannot provide any other options or suggestions on how you can proceed. Respectfully,**************. Note: I would not have extended my driveway if I had known it wasnt approved.
