On 11/20/2021 I hired this business to winterize my irrigation lines. I was not home at the time of the service, but they left an invoice in my mailbox saying the services were completed and I paid the invoice. On 3/30/22 this business (irrigation services) came to my home to de-winterize my irrigation. The technician proceeded to tell me that my system had never been winterized and was to blame for my system that was now non-functioning. At this point I told the technician that I had hired his company to do the winterization to which his response was "I'm just the technician you'll have to call the owner". At this point, the technician leaves my property.I called the owner to make him aware and he confirmed this issue was the result of the system not being winterized. I told him I had hired him to do that work in the fall, and he called me a liar and that his company never winterized my system and some other company was to blame for the issue (that I must be confused and had hired another company). I then told him I was looking at a copy of the check on my bank statement made out to his company for this work. He back peddled and told me the problem could be a result of many problems and not from it not being winterized. I then had a three way call with the owner, the technician, and myself. The owner tried charging me to fix the system that his technician (who on the phone repeatedly told him it was broke due to not being winterized). I turned down the service (confirmed with the owner I didn't owe any money which I have via text message) and ended up fixing the system myself. The company still contacts me trying to get me to pay this invoice in which I never received.
