    On August 3rd I had a comprehensive lost and reported to Geico on August 4th. During the claim, Geico suggested a body shop (Briggs Collison) my vehicle was towed to the shop on August 4th. The body shop submitted the estimate to Geico on August 10th. The body shop took 6 days before even looking at my car. I received a phone call on August 10th, in which the body shop informed me that my car would be done on August 19th. I did not receive any of updates or information on my car until I kept calling the body shop every other day. I will receive the same information that they will call me back but did not receive a phone call back. I call back the next day, in which, the company informs me that they are waiting on another part (hood). This is now going on 4 weeks, if the body shop could not do the work in time I could of went to another body shop. I spoke to the manager on Aug. 25th who had a nasty attitude explaining it is not his problem that I will be out of a car.

    My vehicle was hit while parked in a friends neighborhood. The insurance company progressive suggested Briggs and only gave me one other option. My car is a 2009. I am the second owner. My father was the first the car has never been in an accident. The car was at Briggs for almost 2 weeks. I had to keep calling to find out what was going on they never called to communicate with me. My car was hit on the driver side, front quarter panel and door and they were going to replace the panel and the driver side door but upon picking up the car I noticed a rectangular cellphone size blemish on the back of the driver side door And the windshield sealant was all cracked off and removed on that side as well. As I stated my car is never been in an accident. My father and I are the only ones that ever owned it And I wash and wax it religiously. I took the car back to ask about the issue and they said they had no idea what happened it was probably there before, which is a complete lie, and they took no responsibility. It looks like they probably scratched the passenger side door when putting on the driver side door and buffed it out, but did not put any coating on it and as far as the ceiling around the windshield, they shouldve told the insurance company that it came off when replacing the quarter panel but they did not do that either. Their biggest issue was the car shouldve been totaled and they were waiting for the insurance company to decide whether they were going to repair it or not so Briggs wouldve gotten no money if the car was totaled which is why they decided to repair it and do a crappy job. I have to look at this blemish every time I go to my car now that they could have repaired since they did it and I will eventually have to have the seal around the windshield replaced, which couldve easily been part of the claim. I do NOT recommend Briggs.
