Programs

              

Children and Youth - includes various programs for children and youth, including early childhood education; before and after school care; summer camp; and leadership development for at-risk teenagers. Women's Services - includes various programs for women, including transitional housing; low-income housing for income eligible tenants; sexual assault crisis intervention; counseling; and community education workshops. Health and Fitness - includes programs for all ages, such as therapeutic and recreational aquatic classes, as well as special programs for individuals with mental retardation and developmental disabilities. Head Start and Early Head Start - the Association administers Head Start and Early Head Start programs in the St. Louis area, as well as the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services programs that provide economically disadvantaged preschool children with health, educational, nutritional, and social services.
