Programs

              

Junior Achievement of Greater St. Louis (JASTL) is a licensee of JA Worldwide, which is the largest and fastest growing provider of economic education for youth. Founded in 1943, JASTL is the 5th largest area office in the United States dedicated to educating students about entrepreneurship, workforce readiness, and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs. Junior Achievement's purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. Through a dedicated volunteer network, JA offers in-school and after-school programs for students in grades K-12 and 5-12 grade capstone education programs. JA's local operation encompasses 27 counties in Missouri and 18 counties in southwestern Illinois and will provide programs to over 140,000 students in over 800 schools in all grades in 2011-2012. Programs are offered in parochial, private, and public schools, and education centers in and around St. Louis with satellite operations in outlying areas. JA’s unique approach integrates program materials, training and support. JA is the successful bridge between education and business.
