Jefferson County Community Partnership (JCCP) does not meet the following 2 Standards for Charity Accountability.

Standard 6: Board Policy on Effectiveness - Have a board policy of assessing, no less than every two years, the organization's performance and effectiveness and of determining future actions required to achieve its mission.

The organization does not meet this Standard because its effectiveness assessment policy does not specify that this assessment will take place at least once every two years.  The organization is working to comply with this Standard.   

Standard 8: Program Service Expense Ratio - Spend at least 65% of its total expenses on program activities.

The organization does not meet this Standard because according to the organization's audited financial statements for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2008, the organization spent $278,019 or 61% of its total expenses ($455,900) on program service activities.  The organization is working to comply with this Standard.

Programs

              

Jefferson County Community Partnership (JCCP) develops new and strengthens existing initiatives to address and advance change around local issues and concerns. JCCP’s mission is long-term strategies based on education, health, safety and productivity of children, families and communities. Work includes, but is not limited to: ·facilitating mobility access for individuals with disabilities and the general public through the Transportation Solutions Committee ·addressing access to medical care through MO Health Net for Kids and wellness fairs in rural settings ·address homelessness with the Continuum of Care group ·preventing child abuse and neglect through participation with Children’s Trust Fund ·increasing SIDS and Shaken Baby Syndrome awareness through the Safe Babies program ·determining feasibility of an Early Childhood Comprehensive System (ECCS) in our community ·increase dental education, crisis intervention and access to oral healthcare through the Dental Coalition ·creating opportunities for professional development for fellow nonprofits ·emphasizing education about methamphetamine use and alcohol abuse to local entities through the Partners Responsible 4 Increasing Drug Education (PRIDE) group ·ensuring successful re-entry of ex-offenders into the community through the Missouri Reentry Project ·providing safe and healthy home environments for low-income, disabled and senior citizens with home repairs through Rebuilding Together and Hammers of Hope ·improving overall health and well-being of children under the age of three with stay at home parents through The Parenting Network ·providing training and accreditation opportunities to home and center-based education providers through Educare
