Programs

              

Providing hope for children in impoverished homes and orphans in institutional care through life-giving surgeries, nutritious meals, and opportunities in education; impacting the lives of thousands of children in China, Ethiopia, India and Vietnam. China 2008: Over 200 children received surgeries. Of those, 111 were life saving heart surgeries. Also 1200 children orphaned by AIDS received counseling while 7200 people were assisted after the 2008 earthquake Ethiopia 2008: Over 50 older orphans completed skills training to become independent away from orphanage care. Around 100 impoverished children received support through sponsorship. India 2008: Thousands were fed and provided medical attention following floods and flash fires in Kakinada. Fresh Water wells were bored in 10 villages providing over 8000 families with safe drinking water. Vietnam 2008: Hundreds of children in several orphanages had an extra meal for the entire year. Sponsors also provided the funding to keep over 70 children, from impoverished homes, in school.
