Programs

              

Alzheimer’s Association San Diego/Imperial County (AASD) provides a broad range of free supportive programs and services designed to support the needs of people with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders, their families, caregivers, and the community. AASD holds classes that help participants understand the disease, what to expect, how to promote healthy living, and proven strategies to assist families in planning and coping with Alzheimer’s disease. AASD has a dementia care training program that provides licensed health care professionals to implement the best possible dementia care for each individual patient. AASD actively works to increase funding for dementia research, and to influence public policy changes that will benefit those affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia.
