Programs

              

VMP works throughout Virginia to increase the number of adults mentoring children and, more importantly, to help mentoring programs become more effective by: • Training volunteer mentors and program coordinators • Providing start-up and technical support for new groups that want to mentor children and youth • Serving as a clearinghouse and referral agency for individuals or groups of volunteers that wish to mentor young people • Offering a Resource Library with the latest, most comprehensive resources related to the mentoring movement and effective program management
