Programs

              

Family Lifeline is a comprehensive human service organization providing resources to families at every stage of life--from infancy to the senior years We are guided by four strategic directions: Going into the community, Working in partnership, Building on assets, Creating systemic change/getting to the root of community problems. We believe the best way to strengthen families is to bring our programs and services to them in their communities. At Family Lifeline we have been about changing futures for the past 130 years by reaching out to strengthen the families we serve. Our programs include: • Senior Care including: --Personal Care services providing professional in-home support to seniors and those with disabilities, enabling them to remain at home. --ElderFriends – a volunteer-based friendly visitation program for home-bound elders • Healthy Families – in-home support and education for families, with young children, at risk of child abuse and neglect. • Independence House – a group home for older adolescents who have lived in foster care for many years and are preparing for independent living in the community. • Youth Outreach – a community outreach program that identifies chronically truant youth, returns them to school and provides supports and resources to strengthen their family environment. • Children’s Bright Future Fund – providing Bright Future Food Cards for families to purchase food in emergency situations.
