Programs

              

Christmas gifts were distributed to 78 local foster children. Toys and books were distributed to 2,293 local needy children - each child received a major toy or bike, school supplies, books, and some small toy gifts. Food was distributed to 3,165 local needy individuals - each family received about one week's groceries and meat for Christmas dinner. Clothing was distributed to 2,293 local needy children - each child received pants, shirt, underwear, socks and gloves for Christmas. Chesterfield-Colonial Heights Christmas Mother also coordinates sponsoring groups and families who want to support the individualized holiday needs of a specific family. Through this program an additional 566 families representing 1,816 individuals received gifts, new toys, clothing and food during the holiday season. Eighty nursing home residents received gifts. Seventy-eight foster children received checks. The total number of individuals served was 5,139. They are all residents of Chesterfield and Colonial heights.
