Programs

              

AFF operates programs to support the U.S. armed forces and their families. Through its family assistance programs, the organization offers financial assistance to service members and their families. AFF’s morale, welfare and recreation programs provide moral support and offer diversionary activities to injured service men and women with the aim of helping them to recover and readjust to civilian life. Such activities include participation in Marine Corp marathons, golf outings, concerts, welcome home celebrations, holiday parties, etc. Through AFF’s Michael Stevens career counseling program, troops are assisted in their transition to civilian life with a focus on education and employment. The organization also operates a nationwide Armed Forces Foundation Christmas toy drive through which toys are collected for military children. Furthermore, AFF provides housing assistance and bereavement support to service members and their families.
