Programs

              

TSCL develops educational materials designed to explain to senior citizens their various rights as U.S. citizens and raise the level of public awareness of senior citizens’ rights. These include informational newsletters for members and supporters and other educational materials sent via mail, e-mail, and press release. TSCL monitors the developments in the U.S. with respect to the interests of senior citizens and defends those interests before government, including education and lobbying efforts before members of the U.S. Congress. TSCL also supports other organizations which provide benefits for senior citizens and retirees. Most ($3,090,278 or 87%) of TSCL's government affairs program activities and most ($3,261,958 or 85%) of TSCL's public education program activities are carried out in conjunction with fund raising appeals.
