Programs

              

SVDP provides national and international disaster relief. Organized locally, members witness all works of charity and justice by collaborating with people of good will in relieving need and addressing its causes, making no distinction in those served. Friends of the Poor, a membership program of SVDP awards grants for direct service to the poor at the local level. Another program of SVDP, HOPE delivers food to the poor through its mobile feeding station. Members are drawn from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds, age groups, and economic levels to unite in an international society of charity by their spirit of poverty, humility and sharing. SVDP holds a conference which offers assistance for foreign food programs and disaster relief including assistance with food, hurricanes, etc.
