Programs

Through Dayasagar, an all-Indian life of Christ film, DI shares the gospel of Christ to unreached people in India. The film is produced and acted with an all-Indian cast and presented nightly in villages throughout India by trained Indian film teams. DI provides financial support and equipment for the Life of Christ film teams. The organization reports that its film teams show the Life of Christ film 45,000 times a year and reach 3,750 Indian villages a month. DI also sponsors humanitarian teams called Good Shepherd Teams. The aim of these teams is to proclaim the love of Christ, both in word and in deed, and to see caring Christian commitments established among the poor in partnership with local churches and mission groups. Through the Good Shepherd Teams, DI provides education for children by offering self help, literacy and job training for their parents, overseeing medical and dental clinics, and other development projects. Additionally, DI provides humanitarian aid in the form of medicines, medical supplies and vitamins to people in Malawi, Sri Lanka, and Belarus.

For the year ended December 31, 2010, DI's program expenses were:
