Programs

              

WFCU supports international development programs administered by the World Council of Credit Unions. The International Partnerships program is supported annually by WFCU. The program pairs volunteers from Credit Union systems with developing country to assist the those countries in improving their credit unions and services to credit union members. Primary activities include technical assistance, training, and education sessions for credit union staff and volunteers. WFCU also supports training activities for staff and volunteer directors through regional congresses in Africa, Eastern Europe, Latin America, and the Pacific Rim. In addition, the organization carries out disaster relief through helping credit unions devastated by the 2010 Haitian earthquake rebuild businesses and homes by enabling staff and credit union members to receive loans.
