Programs

              

The Institute publishes an annual report and briefings on the state of world hunger. As part of the Institute's commitment to anti-hunger education, the report aims to strengthen the anti-hunger movement by analyzing the causes of and solutions to hunger domestically and abroad. The organization is also involved in outreach and advocacy efforts. It partners and provides staff support to Christian churches. The Institute has also created an e-mail list to provide pastors with resources on the work it does and the hunger ministry. In 2009, the Institute released a hunger report that focuses on the recovery from the economic crisis and the predicament of climate change. The report also advocates for U.S leadership in reducing global hunger and poverty and in addressing climate change. Some ($159,150 or 3%) of the Institute's programs are conducted in conjuction with fund raising appeals.
