Programs

              

HA reports that it provides free one-on-one phone, email, and web support to over 10,000 people a month. The organization also publishes numerous educational materials and fact sheets. HA’s scholarship program awards eight educational scholarships a year to young adults with hydrocephalus. The organization also acts as an advocate nationally for increased federal funding of hydrocephalus research and engages the media to raise awareness and garner public support. In 2009, HA launched a research grantmaking program and recently received five Mentored Young Investigator Awards.
