Programs

              

SBAA serves adults and children who live with Spina Bifida. Its outreach programs include listservs, a mentoring program, a national conference, a national camp for children with Spina Bifida and a scholarship fund for those with the disease. SBAA’s Awareness Campaign is a yearlong effort to increase the public's understanding of Spina Bifida and its prevention. The organization funds research into the disease’s cause, effects and treatment and encourages the training of professionals involved in treating Spina Bifida. The National Resource Center on Spina Bifida provides confidential information and referral services.
