Programs

              

Share provides support and services to those individuals who are affected by the death of a baby through early pregnancy loss, stillbirth or in the first few months of life. The organization offers phone support to bereaved parents, or friends and family of bereaved parents, including referrals to available support groups and programs available in the area in which they reside. Share provides printed resource materials for bereaved parents and their families, and conducts targeted, monthly support groups for grieving parents and those close to them. The organization conducts regular ceremonies for families that have lost a baby including burial services for early pregnancy loss and memorial services for those who have experienced a loss. Share offers a companion program that matches individuals who have experienced the loss of a baby with those newly grieving. These companions provide caring, compassionate support. Share staff offer trainings and seminars to professional medical staff and caregivers so that they are prepared to provide the information and support needed at the time of pregnancy and infant loss.
